Pros:Good location. Nice to be away from Quinta, but still pretty central. It's a good base to explore the area. 10 minute walk from the main collectivo stops. 5 minutes from Quinta (5th Ave). Felt safe in the area. Super convenient to have a cheap laundromat steps away from the front entrance. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Coffee was provided, but no milk... just powdered creamer. At least provide little cream packages. We ended up walking across the street to a great little Italian café in the morning. Great to be across from a MEGA which had really inexpensive items just a few minutes away from Quinta (5th ave).
Cons:It was noisier than expected. Wifi was really inconsistent with different passwords for different floors and very confusing. Feels like it was put together by someone's nephew. The bathrooms don't have fans, but rather, they have windows that open to the main hallway. You can ask for a hair dryer at the front desk. During rains, the metal roof will make the rain sound like a rock concert on the second floor. Most of these faults by themselves aren't deal breakers, but together they degraded the experience. There wasn't any one thing that really stood out as excellent. We checked in late, but we had reserved a room with two double beds... and ( for the first night ) received a double + single. We have two little kids, so it wasn't a big deal for one night, but good to keep in mind.
