Location wonderful right by the Tay and good starting point for sightseeing. Friendly staff, excellent breakfasts, very good dinners, big bedroom with super king bed and dog friendly which is very important to us. Very tasteful décor in all the public areas and a cosy friendly bar, amazing view from dining room.
Our only small gripe was the bed was not comfortable for us, lovely big super king size but the mattress did not give us a very good night's sleep and the duvet was no wider than the bed so overhang. The shower was poor too but enough to get a wash. Could not fault anything else and would return here again with pleasure.
The fact the company accommodated my needs after a discussion which was not really needed had booking.com gave the relevant information. (it was quite embarrassing) although the management did sort out what my needs were but it would have been nice to know ahead of making the booking
The fact that booking .com did not specify the breakfast times, or indeed that it was a pre-booked breakfast after check in which is hard to do especially when you do not know at that time in the evening. E.G you could potentially order something that you do not feel like eating on the morning which in itself is a waste!. I hope the above makes sense
Breakfasts and dinners were exceptional - really friendly staff and superb choice from the menu.
Bed could have been a wee bit larger, but it was comfy and spotlessly clean.
Nice room, nice river view, good location, nice staff.
We had a great stay here, lovely welcome, cosy, warm, friendly, comfortable bedroom, all great. Evening meal in the bar was excellent. Only thing below par was the breakfast, wasn’t very hot, bit greasy and we had to wait ages to be served by the lone member of staff. Other than that all excellent.
