Just came back after 2 day break I would highly recommend Inn on the Tay the staff were wonderful couldn’t be more helpful. The room was lovely
There wasn’t anything I disliked
Cosy room, great view and breakfast was top notch!
Misleading distance from Pitlochry, about a 15 min drive, not 3 miles
Location. Good food
Dodgy key to our room
Location by the river, rooms really good size, sofas in each room.
In bedroom, some light bulbs weren't working, in one room the shower was difficult/impossible to get the temp right, too hot or too cold, pre ordering breakfast and the time of eating the night before wasn't my idea of a relaxing hotel stay, perhaps if I wanted breakfast spot on a certain time but if you want to relax take the day as it comes no let me get up and decide what I want to eat.
Every thing about this place was spot on. Would definitely recommend it. Great choise and quality for breakfast although they like you to pick the night before. Only got one cup of coffee , wasnt offered a refill. The setting by the river was magnificent, easy to find and plenty parking after the evening dinners had gone. Just shows how good it must be. Lovely big triple room , even had a sofa, magazines and info books for attractions. Plenty tea, coffee and short bread. Arran aromatics shower gel and hand wash. Which you can purchase in house. They also alow dogs, bonus! If i had a dog. Will be back if we are in the area
I would have prefered a softer bed. ( personal preference) and felt it was quite cold during the night. (October) my other two companions slept like a log. Also the shower had no presure and hard to get the temperature right..maybe i wasnt doing it right. Some instructions would be helpfull.
