The room and location cleanliness and the honesty of the staff I left a brand new I watch 4 in the room and they held it for over a week for me to be able to return and pick it up

The 11 am checkout is later than I am used to, and I am so grateful! I didn't spend the morning groggily running around trying to make sure I had everything ready to go before I was even awake. The staff was friendly, even though they did seem to be gossiping a bit about other customers. The pool stays open until midnight which is a great bonus! The parking is close by and the rooms are within reach of all amenities (with a kitchenette to boot!) which makes me want to come back for longer than a weekend get away. They aren't a luxury hotel, with just the basic beds and bathrooms, but they have everything you would need or want for a family at a good price.

The minifridge had food in in from previous guests, which was a sign that maybe the cleaning services could be improved. Other than that, we did not notice any problems with the room. The staff did not mention that there were dishes in the cabinet, which would have been nice to know. We don't poke around a lot if we're just staying over the weekend-no need to unpack. Also, the staff were gossiping about other guests, which made me nervous to say anything personal nearby and I was sure to close my curtains and be quick on entering and exiting. I know it is a small southern town vibe, but I feel like if you are going to gossip about other customers, you should at least wait until one you are serving is out of sight, the room, earshot, what have you.
