The best Hampton I've stayed in all year. Above and beyond customer service, before arrival and during.
Dinner options/meal was not the greatest.
Good Breakfast. Nice Staff. Very good staff at the lobby and breakfast area. Robert is a dynamo, constantly helping people.
The site said there was a pool and hot tub. This is an egregious lie. There is no pool or hot tub. I selected this hotel for the pool and hot tub. Suffice to say, I am extremely disappointed.
Breakfast was ok. There was a small selection for the size of the hotel and amount of people in the breakfast area. Fruit was over ripe and sour. Bar area has a covered outdoor area.
My particular room was very noisy. My window overlooked the roof with HVAC units. Walls dinged up. I actually got the room for free so I shouldn’t complain too much, but if I had paid for this room I’d be unhappy.
Fountains, gourmet restaurants, and more
We loved the overhead walkway connection to the Crown Plaza and their facilities. Incredible grounds, restaurant, bar, gym, pool. Nice staff and room, plus Jogging trails, flowers, free parking and breakfast. Terrific value!
Nice Stay
Comfortable beds and spacious suites
Pull out bed was very uncomfortable.
That we had to pay for parking on top of our hotel room.
Comfortable stay in Center City
The hotel is well-located (right across street from convention center) and comfortable. The staff was friendly & helpful (especially our housekeeper on the 8th floor - forgot her name!)
Parking is a half block down in a small outdoor lot and is expensive! The staff there (private company-not hotel) was incompetent.
well...
location was great, everything was fresh and clean, the staff was AMAZING!! the bar was great, breakfast was hot and tasty.
I paid for a king sized bed room. i got a double full. they said sorry, gave me a free drink. but still. i wanted a romantic evening, and this didn't ruin it, but it wasn't what i had in mind when i booked it.
Water from gym
Pull out sofa was terrible
There are many homeless persons in the neighborhood. A shuttle service from the hotel to areas friendly for public transportation would be desirable.
Great location, comfy bed, warm breakfastand great staff
There was no restaurant inside or attached with exception of a bar that served appetizers from 5-10
The serving and kitchen staff at the continental breakfast were so friendly and helpful. They also proved a great breakfast and it's complimentary. Every staff member I encountered were helpful and polite.
Hotel staff took their time and gave each person undivided due time. When I had an additional question, I was more than happy to wait my turn because I knew that the staff was helping others in the manner that I was helped; furthermore, I would get that level of detailed attention when it was my turn again. Excellent restaurant suggestions! Fresh Gourmet food in Chinatown within blocks, as well as the Market for practically anything your stomach could possibly desire! The children enjoyed the indoor pool, and the "Open Hot Chocolate Bar".
Not a thing. At one point, we were waiting for the childrens' roll-away beds to be delivered to our room, after just one call to request the beds, in addition to the check-in, we were called to the desk as we returned from dinner, and given the option instead to be placed in a suite with two rooms, at no additional charge. That was very generous, and unexpected, and we did partake of their offer.
Parking was horrible.....self-park was unreal...BAD...and the valet took 45 minutes plus to bring car...never again....
Everything. Location near the city hall, metro and shopping, cleanliness, the breakfast with hot waffles... It is not a top notch luxury hotel, but for the price you pay, it is really good.
The coffee could be better.
Great location to the city; helpful staff
hotel was older - rooms were small
The staff was very professional and friendly. The location was excellent. Most of the places we visited were in walking distance from the hotel. I was disappointed that there was no fridge or microwave. I was also disappointed that one of the housekeepers left cleaning rags under the sheets of the bed. Management was very helpful and responded to our concerns immediately.
Would have liked to have a bar
Good location to shops & train, breakfast & internet access
friendliness of the staff and the availability of a great breakfast to start the day
television did not get alot of stations and some of those were not watchable in terms of quality of reception
the hotel staff was very very friendly and they helped where they could
very friendly staff, great breakfast, within walking distance to different parts of the city (almost all the main sights)
breakfast accomodations
no free parking for patrons no shuttle to market st (3801)
