Good relaxing hotel with excellent facilities and staff.
The food was very good, the staff were very pleasant & the log fire in the bar wes very warming on a cold day
Good situation in relation to walks
One hour delay between being served with a drink in resataurant and first course of meal!!!! Booked twin bed and initailly given double then transferred to a family with bunks .....
The location. Beautiful scenery and I really liked the cosy and friendly tavern downstairs. I stayed at the hotel on business but plan to come back for a short break with my husband in the Spring.
Felt at ease and staff were affable. Food excellent but costly
Requested non allergenic pillows which were not in the room on arrival.Staff dealt with matters very well.
male receptionist was fantasticly welcoming on arrival, friendly and proffessional throught our stay. Hotel maid we encountered was friendly, and more than happy to advise us on our areas walks and places to go. The hotel really was a lovely place to take my loved one to. who thoroughly enjoyed her stay. Thankyou to all the staff at Glenridding Hotel.
No, None whatso ever!
rooms smelled of fresh paint - overpowering
The restaraunt! Excellent!
The location is right next to the Lake, and there are many good walks around. The staff were very nice, and the restaurant onsite and inclusive breakfast were of a very good standard.
The floorboards are a little creaky, and the walls can be thin enough to hear them creak as people walk past. If you are a heavy sleeper as I am then this won't be a problem.
The staff are dedicated and very friendly.
