Very good location - close to metro, many places to eat including several food markets. Very friendly staff. Windows that opened up to a balcony with a couple of chairs. We had a large room with comfortable bedding.
During the latest heatwave, the air conditioning was marginal, but worked.
Location is good, silent in the night.
All the furnitures were old, refrigerator was broken. Lightning in the room was dark.
We liked the French atmosphere and location of the hotel. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful.
The hotel advertised air conditioning and it was broken. We had read trip advisor and this seems to be an on going problem at the hotel. Also, we had a quad room and the couch bed for two people was not comfortable. These problems made for a unpleasant stay at the hotel.
It was very nice rooms and the hotel staff was very friendly. We would like to come back!
The air condition was not working...
Worst experience....The A/c was not working in full hotel...extreme Hot and humid outside...rooms allotted were without ventilation...how can this be 4 star property?? It cannot be 2 star also...had to move out same day as it was impossible to spend the night in such a dingy atmosphere..except location which is very central nothing else is right about this hotel
charming ambience, great location, helpful staff
Ecellent location and nice old-world atmosphere.
It was expensive (more expensive than when I stayed there about a year ago). Most of the staff were polite and helpful (though one was not). There were no facilities for making tea/coffee in the room, though perhaps this is typical of French hotel rooms. I did not check the Internet facilities (if any) since I did not bring my laptop.
Fast wifi, clean room, nice neighbourhod, nice staff
lack of breakfast
Lots of restaurants nearby serving dinner until 1am
Rooms are small but bathroom was large
Location great, walking distance to museums & local resturants. Staff all very friendly & willing to help. Good price for a city centre hotel. Our teenage girls really enjoyed their first visit to Paris, & appreciated the comfortable hotel to stay at.
Bar prices high, but no more than other hotels.
