Location is absolutely great and I really liked my stay there.
The rooms though need sound proofing. There was a lot of noise, even the door next door or anyone talking in the corridor or room next door could be heard.
Great location for a short stay in Paris. Ideal for anyone that wants to see the main attractions and walk around the most expensive retail roads of the city.
A tired grand hotel in urgent need of renovation, would best describe the feeling we got when we entered our room. We had booked a Junior suite with 2 large double beds and got a standard room with single beds and an extra bed. All furniture in the room are worn out except maybe the headboard. The upholstered chair in the room had seen better days with a fabric so worn out that you didn't even want to throw your clothes on it. The chandelier encased in a large burned out shade was depressing and the shades hanging over the beautiful double height windows were too heavy to move hens making it very difficult to shut them for complete black out in the evening. The cheap paintings over the bed clashed with the beautiful massive mirror in the room. The room was disappointing the least to say. The lines queuing for breakfast every morning were unbelievably long with the angry clients complaining and the exhausted staff running around trying to accommodate more people than the actual capacity of the " breakfast room ". The hotel definitely felt short of it's 4 stars.
Did not have breakfast. Great location
The shower could not be adjusted properly, it was either freezing cold or scolding hot, so we had to use the bathtub every time, with a lot of water waste. The toilet wouldnt stop running. 2 out of 3 days the coffee machine in the lobby was not working.
Great location , amazing concierge!
Balcony was dirty from last visitors
Too expensive for what supposed to offer and supposed to be top rate. Only location.
