The breakfast was nice, fresh orange juice and I loved the coffee. The room is very stylish and the bath very clean!
It was a little bit cold in the bathroom.
Very central location
Really poor breakfast! Very few choices, super old fruit! Not great service. The kitchen cleaner was plunging the kitchen sink with an open door while we were taking our breakfast less than 5 steps away from the tables! Very basic room, tiny space. Very noisy as it's right by the station. General feeling of not very safe in the night to walk around. We wouldn't stay there again and wouldn't recommend it for more than one stay.
Location was good as near the metro, although this wasn't open on our stay. This meant that we walked everywhere (roughly 8 miles a day) which was really easy, although the neighbourhood is not the most welcoming, especially when coming back in the dark. Breakfast was good and had decent variety with long open times. Communal areas nicely decorated and comfortable. Good shower.
The room was very small and the furniture incredibly basic. Despite requesting a quiet room, we were at the front of the building on the main road and weren't able to be moved. Although the double-glazing was very good, the hotel is opposite a bus station so you can hear the constant rumble of parked buses and noise from the bar downstairs. However, worse that the noise was the light which pours through the curtains from the floodlights at the front of the hotel. The purpose of these presumably to make the hotel look nice to onlookers, the impact is that they direct straight into the window and kept me up for the majority of the night. Although they are not on during the day, it was apparently impossible to turn them off over night. The bed sheets were clean but had a huge tear down them, which demonstrates a lack of care in making up the room, which was clear also from the stained towels in the bathroom and dirty walls. Overall the room had a feeling of being very tired, which didn't match the modern communal areas.
This hotel has a nice location, is modern and very clean. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Breakfast plentiful and great quality. Bus and train very close by, easy to get around. Would recommend
