Proper little French hotel
I liked: the fact that whoever was at the tiny reception were polite & kind. Crisp cotton sheets, that it wasn’t a dull “white box”, the price.
Not keen on: the first single room overlooking a claustrophobic light well. ( I was moved to a brighter room on the second day, thank you)
Poor sound isolation.
The hotel is close to downtown, with three lines of the Metro passing by.
The place doesn't have a neat appearance. Prostitutes are sometimes using the rooms.
The room was fine but I only got a fine one because I did not want to stay a single day there. The room was clean.
The hotel is poorly kept. The bed was not comfortable. The woman who checked us in tried to keep us there claiming there's a 2 days notice which was not true.
Clean, very basic accommodation. Friendly staff. Hotel OK if it's just for the location.
Very poor bathroom facilities, badly designed. Toilet barely flushed and shower curtain kept more water outside than inside the shower! Poor TV too.
Reasonable price, Good Mannered Staff, Strategic position between Gare du Nord and Paris Monuments / attractions
The door of my room was very old and sometimes hard to open, the tv had just a few channel programmed and there was no way to search for other channels manually, the shower was not really good as it dropped water sometimes
really poor breakfast at high price
good location, reasonable price
The Hotel is great to spend the nights. It's really simple but clean and the staff was really helpful and most of them spoke english, so no problems there.
The room was a little bit to small and in the mornigns the neighbors were quite noise.
Staff were very polite and helpful, room was cleaned well every day and the hotel was very convenient for me within a short walk of the Metro etc. Good to have a range of channels on the tv.
The room was small and decor about 30 years out of date. Felt I had entered a time warp. Not really a problem as such (I was hardly there), in fact quite amusing, but I thought overpriced for what it was.
friendly hepful staff, reliable service, clean room, bathroom, close to Metro
