This hotel was everything that I was after for a trip to Paris. The rooms were comfortable, clean and warm (which was good as Paris was cold!). We had a room at the back of the hotel, and it was really quiet. The location was great. It's walking distance to loads of sights, and for the others the metro is directly outside of the hotel. The metro is really easy to use and the book of 10 single trip tickets is well worth 12e. We didn't try the hotel breakfast, instead we opted for the cafe directly over the road (Brioche Doree). There are lots of bars and restaurants on the street. I would avoid Le Porte Monmarte(2 doors up). This was far more $$$ than the others, cost us 25e for a beer & small wine, other places in same street were 11e
Location , there is a metero station just infront of the door of the hotel.
the way to my room was through many doors and lobbies .
Very close to the office
1. Noise level is high in the 2nd floor. If asked I would have opted for a "vue sur cour". Or choose a room on the top floor. 2. the lady at the reception gave me the wrong direction to my office, lost 15 minutes.
Hotel is in a good location to all tourist attractions, metro directly at the door. Helpful staff who sorted problems straight away.
If you get a room towards the front, this can be quite noisy, especially on weekends.
Hotel location was excellent, Metro only steps away. Many place to eat and drink. Non smoking room and flkoors available. Very friendly front desk staff.
Small room even smaller shower without door. Carpet was ancient, no free WIFI in lobby, go to MCDonalds. Room furniture to big for tiny room, need to move desk chair to watch TV or open armoire. Desk block window, safe will not fit a lap top. Very hard beds, old spring mattress. 19 Euros for breakfast, 50 percent off if you become a member.
I stayed at this hotel for the third time. I was satisfied with everything the last two times. But this time they gave me a bad room (on 1st floor, very dark, when I opened the window there were 4 large ventilators which made real noise and I was forced to keep the window closed all the time. This time it wasn't good value for money. But the hotel has good location and it is clean.
Large comfortable room with balcony made this the best room we had during a 3 week visit to Europe
No
Excellent position.
Despite requesting 'non-smoking', room smelt like an ashtray, and indeed there was one in there!
The staff really really friendly!
The location is very good. The room was clean and quiet, almost like in a 4**** hotel. Stuff was English speaking.
Breakfast was OK, but too expensive (18EUR, if I remeber right). It wasn't worth so much.
