Excellent location and staff.
The location was very good - less than a mile from the Louvre and Gare du Nord, and the closest metro station right round the corner. The room was clean and nice, although a bit small. The staff was helpful and nice.
The noise from the nearby rooms came through at times.
Location is awesome. We came to Paris by train from Brussels and walked about half Rue de La fayette and we were there! It's only 15 minutes walk to the Louvre and Tuileries garden, about half an hour to Montmarte (my favourite place).
We stayed in the Bombay room, which was pretty small, bathroom was even smaller, but I think size comes with best price in the area. No shower curtain, so the water gets all over the bathroom floor. And it was a bit dark in the evenings.
Nothing special about this hotel, actually, but if compared to other hotels of this rank in Paris this one scores for almost all the points. The rooms are miniscule but clean, there's an elevator also, so no need to climb narrow spiral stairs with the suitcases as you must do in the majority of small city hotels, the stuff was friendly.
My room was really too small, the rest was OK. You cannot expect more from hotels of that kind for that rate.
The rooms are very spacious and tastefully decorated . There was no air con but then we didn't feel the need for it in mid September
The check in at 3pm is a bit late for people who arrive in Paris in the mornings
Location, location, location! The bathrooms were great - really big with very good water pressure.
The room was quite small, and more importantly, the sheets were so scratchy that they made me break out.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room was very basic, but that's to be expected with the price. While basic, it was certainly comfortable and convenient and suited my purposes perfectly well.
Great location and good value for money for a 2* hotel.
There were no cots available and we had to argue for a long time to get a bigger room for my baby twins at not extra cost. The staff was nice at the end though.
Location, price. I would like to _recommend_ this hotel, put I'm not able to mark answer 'yes' by my browser.
Everything was wonderful at Hotel Monte Carlo. The staff was very very friendly. The room was clean. We shared a bathroom with other people, just to save money, and it was great. I highly recommend this hotel.
