The day time front desk staff were incredibly rude. When my wife, son and I checked in the man at the front desk told us that he could not accommodate two people and a child. He then reluctantly put us in to the smallest, most dilapidated room he could find. When the maid saw us entering that room she called the front desk on our behalf and shamed the rude man into giving us a room that would better accommodate a family of three. When we checked out I asked the night manager if I needed to sign any papers. He told me that I just needed to turn in the key and that everything was taken care of. When I followed his instructions an hour later when the day manager was on duty she accused me of trying to leave without paying. After I told her what the night manager had told me she did not relent. I then pointed out that the hotel has all of my credit card information so it would really be impossible for me to leave without paying. This did nothing to change her tone. It was unbelievable. It was as if the two day time managers at the hotel Lautrec enjoyed making people feel unwelcome and uncomfortable.
