Paracas hotels

Pros: Pools are great Good restaurants breakfast is excellent

Pros: Great hotel to explore Paracas and Huacachina Desert. The staff was always friendly and responsive. Restaurants where varied and delicious. Spa was amazing. We took a private tour from the hotels deck to Ballestas Island. The facilities, pools and common areas where in great condition. I really enjoyed my stay here.

Pros: Excellent stay, very comfortable and really amazing tours. Staff were friendly and very accommodating of my girlfriends coeliac disease.

Cons: A little overpriced but definitely the best place we stayed in Peru

Pros: This is a very nice hotel - the rooms are large and the bathrooms are excellent. Rooms also come with a porch which we had dinner on one night. The food at the restaurants was high quality. It’s the perfect location for exploring Ballestes islands and the Nazca lines. The in house tour company although more expensive than others were very easy to deal with and every tour was great. There is two pools both of which are very well maintained. We had a lovely afternoon relaxing by one reading our books. They are also heated which is awesome!

Cons: There is no hot water jug in your room and no tea or coffee facilities. You need to walk to reception to get these or order via room service. At reception there is no milk. It would be good to have these facilities in the rooms.

Cons: The sea, it was not possible to swim.

Pros: Good food (excellent breakfast) super clean, beautifully decorated and placed in Paracas. Activities for both adults and kids. Great swimming pools. Bed are extra comfy and the bathroom area as well, specially if you're sharing with kids.

Cons: The breakfast coffee wasn't very good.

Pros: Excellent buffet breakfast, hotel location, heated swimming pool. Far exceeded our expectations.

Pros: Best hotel we stayed in Peru. Definitely high end worth every penny of it. They have so many activities for kids and adults. Our kids had a blast and so did we. Breakfast was amazing, beds were comfortable, and the staff were very helpful.

Pros: Beautiful location on the water. Even better than the photos. The staff was very helpful. We had a great large room overlooking the ocean. The pier to the boats going to the Islas Ballestas is on-sight. Also relaxing spa!

Cons: Room was dirty no bath ropes counter claimed bc we booked from booking that is why we did not get bath rope to go to pool

Cons: The noise of furniture moving around, knocks etc during the night till 11 pm and pretty early since 6:00 am. Really 2 bad nights of sleep.

Pros: The room was amazing, the bed was huge and super comfy. The coffee machine made great coffee in the room. Breakfast was lovely (although I only discovered you could order a cappuccino on the second day - and the normal filter coffee with breakfast wasn't amazing). The pool was huge and lovely and the outdoor jacuzzi was amazing! All the staff were very polite and helpful.

Cons: The shower was warm, but for a luxury hotel I would have liked the option of a few degrees hotter. They gave us a plastic wrist band which seemed environmentally unfriendly and actually hurt if it caught your skin when showering/swimming etc! I don't know why they didn't use the usual paper wristbands (or cloth if they want to look super fancy). I would also advise if you want to do a long cycle into the nature reserve to not use the bikes provided but to rent from a proper bike hire place. They weren't able to provide a decent map (we had a photocopy of a driving map) and the bikes were heavy, had no suspension and only borderline functional brakes. They'd be fine for a little mini ride, but going into the reserve I wish we had rented better ones!

Pros: Nice pool, lots of activities for kids and a great breakfast.

Cons: The sofa bed in the room was small and uncomfortable.

Pros: Lovely large suites. Very comfortable, I particularly enjoyed the balcony and ocean views. The Pool is fabulous, and I wish I could have stayed longer.

Pros: Outdoor area is great and well maintained. Bed is very comfortable and room very spacious.

Cons: Bathroom needs an upgrade.

Pros: Nice enough rooms but not what I expected for the price.

Cons: The place was full of families with small children that they did not supervise well. No separate pool or game area for the kids to enjoy away from adults trying to relax. Only one restaurant.

Pros: Had a great stay here. Can't compare to other places in Peru, as we only stayed here and in another place in Ica. Standard was international. Staff were exceptionally well trained and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Really enjoyed making use of the kayaks, paddle boards and catamaran. These added a lot of value.

Cons: Sometimes there was a bit of a drainage smell coming from across the street. I don't think this was the hotels fault. It also affected all of the adjacent hotels. Worse in the morning, but ultimately no problem.

Cons: We came early so we paid our rooms and went to restaurant when we came back we found we got 3 rooms only for reservation of 4 rooms. So we paid another room. Later in the evening front desk called and said the last room we checked in is twin room and is 20 some dollars higher and asked I to take care of it when I have time. I could have double checked my reservations and found the issues but for a hotel to take 3 times to get my room and rate right, it needs better employees training.

Pros: view from the balcony was nice, breakfast was very nice as well, good security - only guests can access, large rooms and very nice long and clean pool with a nice area to stay outside

Cons: staff was not very friendly or welcoming, no towels on the room (when we asked for them, we were given a pile at the reception and had to take them up to the room ourselves when we had actually been on the way to dinner), the furniture was okay but seemed rather dated, the bathrooms weren’t very clean, the food in the restaurant was mediocre and more expensive than options in the town, the waiter was not very attentive

Pros: Great location next to the Boat terminal for Bellastas island trip. Impressive building with a large swimming pool and good breakfast facility. The reception area is large. The room was large and provided good accommodation. Tight security means the guard stopped every time you entered or left the hotel.

Cons: There are no lifts however, we were offered choice between ground and 3rd floor and we chose ground (they call it first floor to ground floor in Peru). The rooms are along open corridor rather than enclosed. The corridor tiling was uneven.

Pros: The room was clean, the staff was very friendly and attentive, the pool big and clean, the billard and location were great. The room with seaview was awesome. Breakfast was very delicious. Good restaurant.

Cons: The rooms were rather noisy, because of the thin walls and doors.

Pros: Lovely room, great pool and beachside location. Room was delightful and the best during our stay in Peru! Free Pisco sour on arrival much appreciated :) Heated pool (it felt like it anyway) we didn't even use but would've been great. Right next to Cruz del Sur bus station.

Cons: We had issues where we were woken up by really loud music from the club next door one evening, but told the staff who phoned the police and it soon died down - not a reflection on the hotel, but just for information. Another one that is bizarre - the ice cream machine in the bar is SO noisy! So it was actually not great to sit at the bar. The hotel would do themselves a favour to just bin the machine, I don't think many people used it.

Pros: Room, pool, dinner, all good. If you want to see Turkey vultures, stay here, local friendly birds come and visit the property. Beautiful creatures and a big part of the eco system.

Pros: Nice and safe hotel for the area. Included breakfast was good. Room was clean and large.

Cons: Like most hotels in Paracas this is located right in the mouth of the harbour where all fishing boats and tourist boats to Ballestas islands are parked therefore not much of a view. Rooms are not very sound proof. Couldn’t really use the pool as many pointed out because of sand and birds.

Pros: The location and the view of the ocean from the room the swimming pool!! Everything was great about the property. The staffs were very friendly and the food was also very good!!

Pros: The sunset view was magical Very close to the bus station and to the pier from which Islas Ballestas boats departure

Cons: The tiles were broken and have not been repaired for many months. Spa pool is cold...would like to have a warm pool for adults. Pools outside also very cold. A hot tub outside would make it better. Thank you☺

Pros: The breakfast was enough and delicious.

Cons: The cleanest of the room was deficient 1 of 3 days.

Pros: Inside the spa was nice and the overall resort was large and fairly well kept.

Cons: - Asked to be picked up from the bus station - no response from hotel. Every other hotel on our trip offered this. - After walking through the main entrance with our heavy bags, we were told to walk to reception by security, despite there being a golf cart available to take guests to and from the main entrance. The walk was through what looked like an unfinished area of the hotel. - Staff at the reception were not welcoming and came across as rude, just demanding ‘name’ and ‘passport’. After check in there was no offer to help with bags, despite there being a bag trolley in plain sight and extra staff doing nothing. - After checking in, we were given the wrong room. We booked a king size double, but were given a twin room. When telling the reception staff about this, they did not believe us and twice asked for evidence of the room that we had booked. We then had to sit and wait around for an hour for our actual room to be made available. When we got into the room we booked, it was made up for one person (one chair on the balcony, one glass to drink from etc.) - not ideal for a couple... - There was a loud machinery noise (likely a generator) that was emitting a noise 24/7, which kept us up all night. - The hotel was virtually empty, but everything still needed a reservation or was unavailable. For example, we walked into the spa (which was completely empty) and were told to call to reserve. We asked to borrow tennis racquets, which were given to us and then immediately taken back because the courts were ‘closed’. Only after speaking to the manager, were we able to use the courts. Overall it seemed that the staff were trying to be difficult, rather than trying to offer a good level of service. This hotel shouldn’t be classified as 5 star.

Pros: The hotel design allows you to enjoy the facilities without feeling crowded. Our room was clean and with a full view of the Paracas Bay. The food at the restaurant was very good. And the staff at the hotel very helpful. The hotel is very closes to the bus terminal ( Cruz del Sur). I will definitely be back.

Cons: The should add more information about the use of the spa. We did not know that you have to request and pay a fee for the use of the jacuzzi. The indoor pool (Spa Pool) is not heated.

Pros: Hotel has many facilities we could not use it may suit a long time vacation but it is not suitable for traveler that hardly stayed in the hotel.

Pros: This was a very clean resort. It is a block from the bus station and a short walk to the town. The town has a beautiful town square.

Cons: The two pools were 1.4 meters deep.

Pros: Excellent location at walking distance from the tourist dock. Variety of Tours offered , little expensive but good quality

Cons: Limited offering at the bar and understaffed at the poolside and bar.

Cons: I didn’t like anything. Staff were awful, place was dirty. Had to ring 6 times to have our room cleaned. We both got bed bugs and then they did our washing for us and lost 1/4 of our clothes and never took responsibility. Do not stay!

Pros: The bed was comfortable and staff very pleasant. It was an easy 5 min walk to the main centre.

Cons: Nice suits, nice view, the stuff very good
