San Agustin Paracas

The rooms were a good size, with an amazing view over the sea and the location was excellent and close to the boats to go to the island.

We had a lunch in the restaurant and once we'd ordered there was a very long delay in the food arriving. When it arrived it was dried and appeared as if it had been kept hot for some time. Rosalind came and apologised and offered us complimentary drinks in the evening and a late checkout. However, when we came to present the drinks vouchers to the barman he told us they were for small drinks and not full sized ( it did not say this on the vouchers) however Rosalind once again resolved the situation. We feel that a disagreement over the size of a drink is not a good way to start a holiday. Although most of the hotel was clean, the children's playroom most certainly was not. It did not appear to have been cleaned for a while.

A bit basic. No elevator, you had to ask for the AC remote control and to unlock the safe in the room

The facilities and the location.

They can do a little bit more with the cleaning, i saw the same bottles in the beach and pool area for 2 days. The hotel staff walked around them without picking them up. There’s no elevator so make sure you get a room on the first level in case you have any movement issue.
