The grounds and decor were very beautiful.
Staff was unfriendly and not accommodating. We got there at 3 because booking.com said to check in at 3 and room wasn’t ready until 4 and staff didn’t care - said booking was wrong so we had to wait our car for an hour. Morning coffee and croissants were handed to me in a box much later than the time I requested. Also, I stayed with a friend and there was only one additional pastry in the box - made no sense. Felt thrown together and very last minute, which is upsetting since I heard their complimentary breakfast is better.
Great staff and has a lot of potential, just in need of some TLC
The facility was really nice, but seemed a little bit run down and in need of maintenance
The breakfast was delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
A heavier curtain would have been nice for the south windows because outdoor lights were on all night and shone into the room quite brightly. The cushions at the fire pit are shredded and singed.
Touches of beauty throughout the resort. It felt very old European.
Food and staff were superb.
Hot water went off and on.
Blending harmoniously into the California desert, Korakia Pensione was restored in 1989 as a Mediterranean-style resort and hotel. This facility includes two historic villas on 1.5 acres of beautiful gardens, with guest houses, bungalows, and pools. There are many antique and handmade furnishings in the hotel, combining modern design with the property’s historic charm. There are beautiful Moroccan fountains and stone waterfalls throughout the courtyard, among olive trees, citrus blossoms, oleander bushes, and date palms, creating a stunning oasis in the heart of the desert.
Korakia Pensione is an upscale, eclectic accommodation that attracts many renowned actors, producers, writers, and other Hollywood elites. A full hot breakfast is served every morning, which can be enjoyed indoors or out in the courtyard. The hotel offers yoga classes, spa treatments and services, and a library full of vintage books to keep you entertained during your stay. Complimentary bikes are available to guests for exploring the nearby shopping and attractions in Palm Springs.
This hotel offers two heated saltwater pools, including an outdoor pool surrounded by fire pits and plenty of seating. The pools are open 24 hours, and there are vintage movies played every night for guests who want to catch a show. Guest rooms are divided into Mediterranean Villas and Moroccan Villas, offering two distinct designs that blend seamlessly into the perfect Palm Springs getaway. The outdoor space can also be rented for special events and destination weddings, with planning and catering services available from the hotel.
