I chose the hotel because the name Hilton implies a certain level of amenities. At $225 a night (plus $30/ night parking fee) my room felt more like a La Quinta Inn than a Hilton. Upon entering our room, we found missing pieces to our toilet seat, marks on the wall from where furniture had rubbed against it, and a broken dresser drawer. We also learned that the sliding glass patio door automatically locks behind you which we were not warned about, and this caused an unpleasant situation. When our air conditioning went out, we waited an hour and a half for maintenance to come show us that if the sliding door is not locked, the AC won't run. Another thing we weren't warned about. We were offered two free drink coupons for the trouble ($10 value) and ordered two vodka drinks from the bar - each well drink was $16.00. We ended up paying the difference plus tip for drinks we only got because they were free. On waking Tuesday morning, we stood in an empty restaurant for ten minutes without being greeted. I even went "behind the curtain" to search for someone to no avail. We spoke to the desk to ensure they were open, and were told that someone should be there. We agreed, they should, but weren't. There is a nice large pool, and two "whirlpools" though the term is a bit misleading as none of the jets in the larger hot tub worked at all, and only some in the smaller hot tub were functioning. The location is good, but the hotel just doesn't live up to my expectations for the Hilton brand.

Great hotel, right in downtown Palm Springs. Very convenient and an easy walk to anything in downtown Palm Springs. Facility is new and modern. These is a swimming pool and hot tub both area are very clean and well maintained. There are two restaurants located on the property. There is also a poolside bar. Staff are extremely friendly, outgoing and efficient. Emma at the front desk was a pleasure to work with. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip to PS.

Pros:Check in was easy and completely digital. Made arriving late and getting into bed so much nicer. I was also able to have a late check out considering the circumstances I will share.
Cons:I arrived to the hotel very late after getting a flat tire during travel and waiting for aaa. Upon late check in, showering and jumping into bed, I woke up to discover the sheets underneath the comforters were spotted and dirty with something that looked like food, even spreading to my brand new pajamas. The front desk agent and manager had me come down to the front desk three separate times to speak to them and show them my pjs as well as having the housekeeping manager inspect the room and not replacing the sheets. They just left the mattress completely bare. When I asked them what it was on the sheets so I know how to treat my brand new pjs, I was told housekeeping would’ve never left the room in that condition. As a customer who stays frequently with Hilton to the point that I used Hilton points to Book this stay, I felt very unappreciated. Not only did the staff do absolutely nothing to accommodate the poor room conditions, they basically accused me of making the mess myself. Then offered the same discount available as online as an extra discount to accommodate when I stated I was staying two additional nights.

Pros:This place was so clean! I am so picky about my rooms and pools and Hilton didn't disappoint. We traveled with kids and the pool had a lot of them during the week (not sure about weekend), and they all had such a fun time. Also, so conveniently located by all of the shops and food. Great and accommodating staff. No complaints here!

Pros:Staff was great and extremely helpful. Pool was relaxing. Food was okay but breakfast was better than lunch and dinner. The bar at the pool was good, but the drinks weren't strong or worth 9$.
Cons:The alcoholic beverages at the pool bar were the biggest let down.
