Perfect location in the heart of Oxford, accessible by bus from a Park & Ride and literally 1 minute walk to the main sites of Oxford University. Very clean facilities and breakfast in a café next to the house. Staff was very empathetic with my food allergies and proactive to accommodate a menu for me.
Great breakfast in Café around the corner!
Shower temperature hard to regulate
Location fantastic. V central, safe and convenient for shops, exploring oxford. Great to be able to pop in to the Turl Kitchen. Staff great and friendly.
Double room was small. Not much room around the bed. Maybe it’s because I was staying for 4 days but the room felt small if my daughter and I both wanted to just relax. No room for a desk or chair which is what I had expected. Also although there is a downstairs room where you check in, it didn’t have the feel of a lounge or room where you could sit and relax. To compensate the Turl kitchen is barely a dozen steps away so I used to go for a coffee there. The staff were always friendly but the closing hours meant it was not available during some of the evenings. If you are staying one night, the size of the room may not bother you as all you need is a bed.
Location is great in the centre of oxford
The showers were useless. Eventually got one working but son couldn't get his working properly which made him late . Windows in our room wouldn't open enough .
The location and the breakfast.
A stay at The Tower House places you in the heart of Oxford, steps from Exeter College and Covered Market. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
