Central for town. Nice staff. Facilities for tea and coffee were lovely. Clean fresh smelling bed linen.
The bed quilt was very lumpy and had parts of the duvet where there wasn't any filling. The stairs leading to the hotel are very steep and not for anyone who has bad knees as there are 3 flights to climb. Paintwork could do with touching up as bathroom door and frame were stained. Very noisy at night if you have a bedroom overlooking the street until the early hours and this was midweek Found it strange that the extract air blower in the bathroom was on the wall in the shower cubicle and quite a big box not protected from water.
The staff is really friendly and nice!
Room is a bit cool
Staff super friendly. Couldnt have been more helpful.
Room extreemly noisy. Could hear everything outside.
The view and location was exceptional, it was close to all the museums, colleges and historical spots. Only 10 mins from the train station. Room was huge with large windows, bed was comfortable with a feather quilt and the kettle/ tea coffee selection was good. Staff were welcoming and provided good local information.
The room was cold, i turned the heating up but it just didn't heat the room. I was cold even with an additional blanket. Also the stairs were tight and steep, would have liked to be informed of those beforehand since I have a hip problem.
Excellent location - could not be bettered. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Comfortable room. Value for money was quite good considering the location. I really enjoyed my stay.
Quite a lot of dust and fluff, for example at/on the base of the bedside lights. Apart from that, the room was clean
