Very good location, friendly staff, quick wifi
Very tiny room, no air (window towards emergency stairs), extremely thin walls, no safe box in the room.
Good location. Old style plushness.
Unfriendly staff. Room dark and musty. Probably due to the Bordeaux walls that turned the small room rather claustrophobic.
The room was beautiful, very comfortable bed. Very nice staff. Location perfect :one minute from the beach. Nice breakfast.
We knew there would be an extra fee for the dog, there always is but thought twenty five euro was a wee bit much. We don't mind paying for the dog but we wish the amount of extra costs would be mentioned when booking. The room was a bit cold.
Rooms were either too hot or too cold, no thermostat in the rooms. Mattresses need replacing as they’re sagging in the middle. The whole sleeping accommodations need refurbishment. Despite it being a no smoking hotel the rooms and corridors reeked and there were cigarette burns in the curtains. No showers just a shower head fastened to the wall down near the taps with no screen or curtain, couldn’t use it hand held without soaking the whole bathroom. Towels were the type that didn’t dry you. Lighting is poor in the bedrooms. Staff went into your room while you were at breakfast and still carried on as though you weren’t there when you got back. One of our group got back to her room to find the maid by the side of her bed barefoot and fastening up here trousers!! The bar is tiny (3 tables and 9 chairs) but despite this you are not allowed to take drinks to the pleasant lounge area - it gives the feel of running the hotel for their convenience not their paying customers. We were there for four nights and as the week went by there was less and less choice at breakfast and when we asked for natural yoghurt (usually in a big bowl) we were told no and pointed to the pots of jelly like fruit yoghurt. Several people had to ask for the juice, bread, croissant, coffee etc etc to be replenished. One of our group was (alone) in a single room that had an interconnecting (very badly fitting) door, besides the noise from the next room it made her feel very vulnerable. When we asked if she could move the staff weren’t very helpful and said there was no single room available and she would have to pay extra to go into a double, they only let her move to another single when we insisted. This was our 4th stay at this hotel and it has definitely gone down hill. We will not be back.
Good friendly staff
Lighting in room was not good and it was hot in the room had to open window but road was very noisy
