Pros:Bed was very comfortable. Staff was very nice. Rooms were being updated and it appeared our room was done and looked nice and was clean but some peeling wallpaper. Beautiful lobby even though we had to dodge scissor lift and ladders.
Cons:The hotel is undergoing updates. Understandable but we were on 2nd floor and my wife went to get ice and there was a note saying to go to 1st or 3rd floor for ice. She went up to 3rd floor and thought the elevator should not have even let her off. Construction stuff was everywhere and she couldn't even get to ice maker. We never found the ice on 1st floor. They did have breakfast and included a waffle making station but most of the rest of breakfast was a bit disappointing. In a container marked sausage was what looked to me as ham luncheon meat. Cereal was just rice krispies or frosted flakes, would have loved some raisin bran. Don't get me wrong, breakfast was ok, just could have been better.

Cons:Hot tub had WAY too much chlorine in it. Hard to breathe in the room where the hot tub was. Also, pool was ice cold. My 3 year old son was very excited to swim, and the water was even too cold for him!!
