Fairfield is a better value and more customer serv
New Not busy on spring break week Staff were nice Room was nice Glass show was great Wish I could have used the pool but had no time.
Unlike Fairfield Inns where I usually stay: - breakfast was not included - cold not social environment in common areas. I.e. No shared breakfast no one talking to each other. - cost more than FI - forgot toothbrush and was pointed to "forgot wall" where the was a $2+ one. FF free with a smile. Don't mind paying but could it be a little more reasonable like a dollar forgot wall? These are free at most hotels. In fact while at a reception at the Hyatt I just asked the front desk for a toothbrush and told them I was not staying there. They said here you go. - FF has 24 hr free coffee tea hot coco - room had tea but no herbal. Asked front desk for herbal and was pointed to cafe where I could purchase a bag. I think this may be for all courtyards the standard as I stayed at one last year. Last year they did provide a free breakfast because I am a Vet and it was Veterans Day! I really appreciated that and they upgraded my room ! (thank you again for recognizing Vets CY!). But it is reflected in the staff. FF staff friendly and engaging helpful. CY staff removed and almosed ashmed they would charge for a toothbrush. Just my opinions. Will still be going to Marriotts but FF. Feel that people who go to CY are suckers who pay not only more for the room but everything else! Try Fairfield Inns! Can't speak for all of them but I travel the Midwest and they have all been very nice. Newly remodeled and have Micro frig in room And to be clear the staff were nice at CY and good people but I just think the hotel posture is, you know, get an extra nickel of you can! Sincerely submitted. John G.
