Pros:Great location, decent sized mini-fridge in the room.
Cons:Mattress was too firm for my liking, the linens were two flat sheets, housekeeping didn't even make the bed in between nights - let alone change the sheets, housekeeping also didn't provide fresh towels in between nights. No iron or ironing board in the rooms.

Cons:No hot water! Needed to call staff to get TV working. Not even a plastic cup in the room for water. Deadbolt only locks from inside which made me concerned for my valuables when I was not in the room. The worst hotel I've stayed in for at least 25 years!

Pros:Pool--terrific, though it's open only 9 to 9 Unplugged--because THERE IS NO WI-FI No Dishes to do--NO SINK OR DISHES THERE, and nothing to cook with; closest coffee is DD 2 blocks away Cozy--BEDS are SMALL, no room to put luggage except on precious floor space (or decades-old stained-fabric chairs) There’s a closet rod—though no hangers to dry bathing suits or clothes from beach PRIVATE--most of the rooms were empty--in the middle of July in OC; apparently for good reason OK place if ALL you want is bed, shower, toilet, and pool, three blocks from beach; and if you're by yourself, because there's no room, and no window or exhaust fan in the bathroom.
Cons:"Kitchen Amenities" means 1 little fridge, which holds a rickety lamp, has teeny freezer big enough for 3 blue freezer packs, NO TABLE, NO MICROWAVE, NO CUPS, HAVE TO BUY ICE $3, NO COUNTER, ONLY SINK IS IN BATHROOM WITH NO COUNTER; "Free WiFi" means "only for the office staff." "Cable" means Basic Cable, the remote changes channels but not the volume. I am glad we had good weather and didn't have to stay in the room for a minute more than necessary.

Pros:The location was the only part about this hotel that I liked. In addition, during the day the pool was a nice get away from the beach.
Cons:The room was disgusting: dirty sheets, dirty towels, dirty toliet, hair all over the floor and in the shower. There was such a bad smell coming from the air conditioner that my boyfriend and myself both got sick. The fact that there was no ventilación in the bathroom was absolutely unacceptable. Would never return nor recommend! :/

Pros:Great location for the money, was expecting it to be a lil bad/avg cheap beach room, all the bad reviews werected stuck up pricks. They weren't too far off and it was a pretty crappy hotel room. I don't like OC anyway, VA Beach is the same distance and cheaper/nicer for the money. If I paid $150 or less I would've been happier, but not terrible.
Cons:We didn't plan on using it, but the stove was rusty. The bathroom sink leaked bad. The air conditioner leaked condensation all over the dresser.

Pros:The lady who cleaned our room was very friendly and nice. The location was the only other thing going for this place.
Cons:- Lady at front desk was fairly unfriendly. She told me to sign an electronic pad...seemed put out when I asked her what I was signing for. - Website advertises 'free wi-fi'...but fails to tell you it's only available in the office area. - Our bed was literally 2 twins pushed together with a mattress pad over top. - The DirecTV was intermittent. The only channel we were able to get continuously was SciFi. - The smoke detector in our room was hanging out of the wall by it's wires. - I'm convinced the shower curtain was actually a fitted sheet. - The deadbolt on our door did not work. - I had to call the front desk (from my cell because there was no phone in the room, and had to use my data plan to Google the number because again, no wi-fi) TWICE on Saturday afternoon to tell them we had no hot water. - We were woken up several times Saturday night be people partying outside our door and below us. We called the front desk but still had to go outside at 4am and ask the partiers to quiet down. - The pool was kind of dirty. I didn't see anyone cleaning it at all and the floor of the pool was stained. - We were given towels but no washcloths or hand towels (or bathmat come to think of it). - When all was said and done, I paid over $200/night for a place that probably sees quite a bit of hourly rate business in the off season. Lesson learned. Next time I'll pay double and stay somewhere reputable.
