Great Location and good comfort
Close to BART and freeway and train. Lots of great food around from BBQ to sushi to Chinese. Small hotel and small rooms with ok amenities.
Super thin walls I am awaken by my neighbors cell phone alarm and vibe. I can hear conversations. Parking is $25 a nite so add that to your per nite cost. Parking on street is hit or miss.
Don't look behind the nightstand...
Good location, friendly staff, easy check in/parking (with a $25 fee), outdoor courtyard with the pool is nice.
The hotel has clearly done some upgrades--nice lobby, nice outdoor patio area, new linens. But, the room still has a lot of old and dirty to it. I definitely did not want to take my shoes off on that carpet. And when I reached to plug my phone charger into the wall behind the nightstand, the nightstand was covered in sticky goo and the wall/baseboard were caked in a layer of dust/grime. My room was also in a bad location (210 corner) because any time anyone came down the hallway they could see directly into my room (those black out curtains were too intense to close all the time). I am not saying this is a terrible place to stay. It is affordable for Oakland and its in a good location with some updates that make it ok. However, it needs a major cleaning and some standard replacements (such as caulk around the tub and carpets/flooring).
Poor cancellation policy
Had to cancel a week in advance fo schedule reasons and they still charged me full rate.
Bunch of you kids partying at midnight kept complex awake and management did nothing to resolve matter
Comfy Beds, lots of parking, and quiet location.
No waterfront entrance and only one entrance into hotel
Good place. Being renovated right now. Call before you book to see if they're finished.
Will be coming back
The location was perfect! A couple steps to the water front where you can board the fairy to San Francisco. Staff was friendly check in and out was easy, bed was very comfortable.
room was a tad outdated but was still very clean and nice. Hidden parking charges and fees
You like trains?
No fault of the inn, but if you can't sleep through train whistles all night long, you won't like it. Otherwise no problems or complaints.
Overpriced but clean
Very clean. Friendly staff
The price! It was described as a boutique hotel. Hah! A motel without the convenience of a refrigerator and microwave.
AJ was very accommodating and super helpful by getting us ferry times and recommending restaurants to eat. Extremely friends front desk staff. Room was very nice and we were pleasantly surprised to find a microwave and fridge in the room.
We go into the Amtrak terminal late and walked to the hotel, not very far but still a little scary. Some people just asking for money.
Nice value and location
This is a simple place with a nice courtyard and pleasant rooms. Nothing fancy but good. Central location.
The furniture was a bit cramped for the space.
Cheaper alternative to the more expensive waterfront hotels in the area. Great food at the diner next door.
Parking cost $15/day. You can hear people walking above your room if you're on the 1st floor.
