Located in the heart of Lower East Side. Very cool restaurants and bars in walking distance. Hotel has a cool rooftop with view on Manhattan.
Though the location was more than perfect and also hotel amenities are simple but clean, this hotel was unfortunately quite disappointing and did not did not matched our expectation. There are two main things, we were not very happy about. First) When we arrived, the lady at the reception was very unfriendly. When checking in, she asked for my name. I told her my full name but she couldn’t find me in the system. I showed her my ID, so she could see my name. She replied harsh "Babe I don't need this. I need you name, you are not in my list." In my opinion this is unprofessional and not kind at all. Even for other, simple questions like how to store the luggage, the reception was quite unfriendly, such as don’t look up from her screen while talking to us. It seemed like they were really stressed and not interested to talk to the hotel guests. We all know that the situation because of the corona virus is not a easy time for all of us. Therefore it’s even more important to be professional and to give every single customer a welcoming feeling, unfortunately this did not happen. Second) The rooms were very small. If you have luggage you can hardly move around in the room. The bed was not really comfortable thin mattress and blankets, VERY small for two persons.
Great location with friendly staff and comfortable rooms.
The ground floor rooms are really noisy and it is hard to get a good nights sleep.
The location was perfect for what we wanted. Close to Soho, walking distance to Chinatown and other areas. Great bars, sights nearby. The staff at this hotel are second to none. They go out of their way to help you, are good fun and just helpful!
Room was small but its New York, we didnt expect anything else! The bathroom was very clean but lacked a little privacy, but all in all it was a great spot for us!
The hotel is located right next to the 2 AV subway stop, making it easy to get places. Being right next to plenty of restaurants and bars, particularly Katz’s Deli (MUST GO). Beautiful artwork covers the ground floor of the building and the inside hotel is clean and polished, definitely a good find.
For the price, I got everything I expected. No complaints.
Very helpful staff
