This hotel had a great location. We got upgraded to a suite at no extra charge which was appreciated. The suite had two rooms; main bedroom and a living area with a sofabed and a little kitchen area. The kitchen area had a microwave and also a pretty nice size refrigerator which had space in it for guest items. It would be a great place to stay if you were a small family. The upstairs bar/breakfast area seemed nice.
The room was trying to be a stylish art deco, but didn't quite pull it off. The elevator was broken a lot during our stay. They had other elevators working, but you had to walk past laundry baskets and cleaning supplies to get to them.
The location is great , rooms are big
Grab and go breakfast is bad , you can not take more than 3 things , the guy there is extremely serious . Staff should be more nice to costumers
The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a good size.
The inclusive breakfast was unusual to say the least. We were given vouchers to collect a "Grab and Go" breakfast. This entailed selecting 3 items and a beverage. Everything was packaged in plastic containers or wrapped in serviettes, and then placed in a paper carrier bag to take back to your room to eat or to take out with you. The rooms were tired and in need of a makeover. The air conditioning didn't provide and fresh air so the room smelt musty. Opening a window helped, but let in a lot of noise.
Concierge recommended an excellent restaurant. The suite had two bathrooms which met my needs. Valet parking was nice. We checked in a little early and got an extra hour for checkout. Did not have the breakfast.
There could have been an extra pillow and blanket for the sofa bed and we were three people with two coffee cups
Location was very good.
Very poor treatment from staff. Im a genius traveler and when I booked it was advertised that paying for a certain room I would have an upgrade, didn’t have anywhere mentioning that it was by availability so I when I asked the lady in the reception laugh at me. Most of the staff was very rude a part from 1 or 2 nice bellman. We were also advertised to take a ride to the airport by them and we asked if it wasn’t possible to pay by card and they guarantee it was but it was not a correct information. Just a very bad experience with them.
