Marvelous location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast at nearby steakhouse was excellent.
Room constantly too hot. Took forever to cool it down. Controls on temperature didn't work. I had to open a window and even that didn't help for several hours. Room was very tight; i kept bumping my ankles on the bed frame.

- a totally empty refrigerator in our room - something we have never experienced up till now - personnel at front desk (with one exception whose name I cannot remember) unfriendly, not helpful because incompent - shower in bathroom very oldfashioned
The hotel is expensive but has a great location.
One of the staff member at the reception screamed at me after i kindly asked her to please help me charge my computer. The only plug available was in the reception counter. I spoke to the manager and he did not do anything about that, not even an apology.
Very kind staff, very good cleaning and exceptional position near Central Park and Times Squares.
