Good location and door service.
It all started when we arrived late at night (after advising we would have late check-in) and a room wasn't available. There were others who had been waiting 4-6hrs. We had flown 30hrs from Australia and this just wasn't good enough. When we finally got to talk to a staff member, who could have mitigated our distress if she was reasonable and apologetic, she responded sarcastically, condescendingly and was blatantly RUDE! We managed to receive a room just before midnight which had STICKY TAPE to hold the wall paper together. The bathroom walls were buckled from water damage, the room was dusty, decor was dated and there was a used soap bar in the shower! The cleanliness was below standard. Also - the concierge asked for a TIP to hold our LUGGAGE when we had no choice but to stall our bags while they tried to find us a room. The most awful hotel experience we have ever had. Although a partial refund for the first night was given on check-out after we asked for it, this was done as though they were stretching themselves and doing us a 'favour', when it should have not even have needed to be discussed in the first place and been an act of common hospitality!
The staff was Amazing Especially Allison who helped us at the front desk
I really loved the location of this property! It is around all of the restaurants, theaters, and stores. The staff are kind, but you have to wait in line for EVERYTHING.
It is very dingy. The elevators really need upgrading as they stop on almost every floor even when the elevator is full. If you have a "city view" and you are on a higher floor, this could ALMOST deter you from going out.
Perfect location for Times Square and all the Broadway shows. Beautiful Lobby and very nice room.
Parking garage next to the hotel only accepts the discount parking ticket if you are in the parking garage less than 12 hours. However, the hotel did verify w them that I was a guest so they did give me a small discount off the almost $60 a day parking price.
Allison at the reception desk was super nice, helpful and accommodating. She fixed the room issue. She gave us a good restaurant suggestion, and just was very pleasant to speak with. She made my wife and I's stay that much better.
The room i got looked nothing like the room i chose on the website when i booked. Was very old and dingie looking, had no fridge like the one i was led to believe the paid for.. very upsetting.
