You’ll get breakfast with your stay when you sign up for the bed and breakfast package at The Manhattan at Times Square. It includes a continental breakfast, which consists of a pastry, fruit, juice and coffee. If you want to commemorate your visit to New York city, you might like the Big Apple gift package. Along with overnight accommodations, with this package, you’ll get a bag of New York goodies to take home with you.
All of the executive suite rooms are located on higher floors and therefore have some of the best views of the New York city skyline. Other amenities such as a Nespresso machine and remote-controlled window treatments are also included. If looking at a suite, these rooms are much larger and have separate living and dining spaces for entertaining. Because many of these suites can sleep as many as 6 guests, they are ideal for groups that are traveling together.
If you plan an extended stay or just want to prepare a few meals in your room, you can request a microwave and/or refrigerator from the front desk. There is a flat fee for use of these items during your stay. You can also request to use a rollaway bed if you need added sleeping accommodations.
Along with arranging transportation and making restaurant recommendations, the concierge at The Manhattan at Times Square also has tickets that you can purchase to many of the top theater and Broadway shows. Tickets for bus tours and museum admissions are also conveniently sold here.
If you’re traveling from JFK airport to the hotel, it will be about a 45m trip on the subway. You’ll first ride AirTrain from your arrival gate to the Jamaica Station Line. From here, you’ll connect to subway line E to 7th Avenue. If you’re flying into Newark, you’ll also be able to take the NJ Transit train into Penn Station. You’ll have less than a 1 mi walk from Penn Station to the hotel. Penn Station is one of the busiest subway stations in the world. It provides access to Amtrak trains as well as commuter trains, New Jersey Transit and Long Island Railroad.
Although the hotel does not have a parking garage, there is one right next door. Connected directly to the hotel, it is very convenient. Once you park, there are no in/out privileges; however, since you can walk to many attractions and eating places, you won’t have to take your car out much. Depending upon the size of your car, parking fees range from $52-$65 per day.(Prices checked 06/26/19).
