Breakfast service is now available in the dining room. Staff is polite, competent and friendly; a hallmark of Sofitel service. The hotel is within easy access of JFK and after long-haul, international business trips, it provides a welcome respite in the city. Fast checkout is a top attraction for me, no need to join a line on departure and get a paper copy of your account. What could use some more...

Pros (+) It went to Sofitel and resides there permanently. To accommodate a late evening meeting, staff in the in-house restaurant, Gaby, expedited my dinner order. Across three continents and three cities--New York, Amsterdam and Marrakech--I have come to rely on and expect great service.

Pros (+) The lobby is wonderful. The staff are tremendous. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, although one was a bit noisy. But we were moved without fuss and very efficiently. Coffee and tea making equipment is by request. Good restaurant and bar.
