Great location and lovely room. Nice and comfortable.
At check in we were not told about any of the facilities of the hotel (e.g. restaurant, gym) or asked about our stay. It was all very mechanical without any personal touch. The hotel is losing potential income as we might have had breakfast or dinner in the restaurant. Disappointed with this.
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Joseph, our doorman, was very gracious and a pleasant greeting every time we left and returned. He also made several helpful suggestions. Rooms very clean and fresh.
Room was a little 'snug' but we were only in room to sleep.
We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel as the dining room was kept very cold and we didn't find the food appealing nor the room. The staff was always pleasant.
The room was exceptionally small, almost ridiculously small coupled with a very large and very nice very large bathroom, was kind of ridiculous use of space. The area toward 6th was filthy, streets, shops, homeless toward 5th much better. We needed to for our first time in years in NY watch where we went as we do it all by walking...........kind of sad as we felt the city dirty.
The sofa bed for the kids is very bad! If you need with kids take 2 double beds
Sofa bed for kids bad
The location is excellent and very central. The staff were very friendly.
Took them a few days to fix a problem we had. We had to report it 3 times. Not good at all.
