The location was just a short walk to all activities. The hotel was very secure. Staff was friendly. The beds were super cozy and the room was clean! Great stay and excellent value!
The room was spotless. AC worked great. Location was fantastic.
No Breakfast , but not a big deal
Quaint but comfortable hotel. There are no frills or thrills, no refrigerator or microwave and no breakfast, but honestly it didn’t matter. The location was fantastic! There was a French breakfast cafe a block away for good breakfast and all of the French Quarter was accessible. The hotel and rooms were very pretty and showcased the age of the hotel. I know some would not like the slanted floors and plaster wall issues but I absolutely loved the original floors!!! The double door shutter entry was so authentic and it felt like a step back in time to old time NOLA. I am a huge stickler on cleanliness, and this place exceed my expectations for NOLA, they kept the room clean and stocked, oh, and SOOOO COOL! We would absolutely stay here again!!! HISTORIC AND BEAUTIFUL!
Lacking in amenities, no refrigerator or microwave. But a coffee maker! The doors are narrow and the stairs are steep so not ideal for older guests or disabled, but historic charm galore!
Staff, location, building style
I was happy with everything and was what I was expecting. Maybe a little bar fridge would be handy.
Originally constructed in the 1700's, the 15-room Inn on Ursulines is one of the oldest structures in the French Quarter. Located between the famed Royal and Bourbon Streets, this traditional Creole Cottage was once owned by voodoo priestess Marie Laveau, who operated it as a hotel for travelers to the city seeking her services. Engrossed in the property's rich history and architecture are guest rooms providing today's traveler the comfort and modern conveniences expected of great French Quarter hotels. Our inviting courtyard is your personal sanctuary near Bourbon St. offering a quiet refuge from the ongoing thrill that is the New Orleans experience.
