It was a new facility so everything was shiny and new. The lobby/lounge area was very open, airy and inviting. This is a great place for families with a great pool, walking trails,outdoor grills and picnic area. It was nice but not impressive for the money.
The bed and sofa both were very uncomfortable. It was supposed to be a suite but it was the size of a regular room and they had some sort of curtain that was supposed to divide the sleeping area from the rest of the room.
The breakfast was very good, lots of choices, but not open long enough, especially on the weekend. The hotel was comfortable. One staff member did not have any change at the front desk so went to his car to get his own quarters to break dollar bills for me. That was nice of him. The rooms were spacious, well organized, and laid out well.
The housekeeping staff was not good. One day they never showed up even though I asked them to clean the room and let them know when I left so they could get into the room. Once I returned, no one was on staff to clean the room. The other days the staff just did not clean well. Left trash on the floor, did not take dirty linens. Never refilled my empty tissues or toilet paper until I asked for replacements. Also, one day there was an employee parked in a handicapped parking place all day with no signs of being handicapped nor did he have handicapped plates or placard. On the next day the hotel van was parked in a handicapped space all morning. There is only 4 handicapped spaces at this hotel. This should never happen. Not good water pressure in the shower. Sliding doors in bathroom were difficult to use.

Home2 was a great hotel super close to airport but couldn't hear planes. Staff was super friendly and nice , rooms were very clean and we'll stocked ,I got a suite and it was a lot bigger than I expected, overall a great stay
Only issue I had was there must have been a junior hockey tournament the weekend I stayed ,kids were everywhere and extremely loud and running up and down the hallways,but that's not the hotels fault it's the parents.

Pocket doors in the bathroom are a bad idea. Pool is much colder than expected for a heated pool. They also over sold our suite we purchased, no compensation for the mistake.
Hotel was very modern and clean.
Breakfast hours were very short (6-9) and choices were limited. One of the cabinets was broken in the room. No maid service on the weekend without special request. Shower water pressure was almost non-existent. Overall, I was just not that impressed. I understand the hotel was green but it only seemed to be green as a mechanism for cost savings.
