10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really lovely hotel! Gorgeous location and delicious breakfast! Definitely worth staying at whilst in Bariloche.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hospitality is very warm. When you get there they give you hot choclate to drink and cookies. The stuff is very helpful, have many recommendations and helped us a lot during our stay with calling places and planning tours. Thay have many parking palces. The dinner is good and they have a very cheap manu of the day option. The best thing is the amazing view- from the loby and the room! The room was cozy and big, nicly decorated, with very big and good bed, great shower. They have a small place with cookies and drink all day long. And the breakfast is by far the best thing you can have in all argentina. They have so many options, small different dishes and everything is fresh and home made. The BEST place in argentina!!!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: All very good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The views and location were unparalleled, a real oasis of calm and friendly helpful people a bit outside of town. The breakfasts were the best I think I’ve had at a hotel, wide range of delicious options and daily cooked specials (and cookies! And brownies!). There is also an all-day bar where you can help yourself to fruit, biscuits, teas, water etc. It’s in the midst of the forest on the lake, with a little path winding down to the shore so you can walk down and sit by the water with the lake lapping by your feet. Beds were comfy, shower was great (hot and good pressure). We requested a lake view room and had a fabulous vista from the comfort of our bed every morning. Heaven! The evening restaurant was also pretty good, we had some delicious food and reasonably priced. There are some great restaurants near the hotel too - you don’t necessarily need to go all the way into town. Anyone after a gastronomic feast should try Quiven (900metres from the hotel, you can walk it in 10mins) - it’s pricey for Argentina (came to US$100 for 2 people inc half a bottle of wine), but the food was stupendous - a 7 course tasting menu - and made a lovely change from all the meat & carbs heavy diet for the rest of our holiday...!
Cons: As other reviews have noted, the walls are thin so you can hear your neighbours. That’s really the only point which in any way affected us. I could split hairs about perhaps benefitting from a refresh of the bathrooms, but really the walls would be my main suggestion for the hotel. And this isn’t a criticism so much as a point to note for prospective guests - it is a fair way out of town (20-30mins drive) so you do need a car or to catch the bus to get into the centre, don’t be under the illusion you can walk it! But the buses go every 20 mins and accept SUBE (like in Buenos Aires) so that’s not actually that hard.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is in a lovely location by the lake (best if you have a car if you want to go out for dinner, although they have a restaurant - just closed sundays). The owners are AMAZING, we had the best welcome ever with hot chocolate and cake and the breakfast was just incredible. Wish we could have stayed forever!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is extremely comfortable, with bedrooms, lounge and restaurant/breakfast area overlooking one of the best views in the vicinity. Both the rooms and the evening meal were an economical price considering how good they were. There is a lovely little beach below, with chairs to sit and enjoy the lakeside. The location is perfect for easy access to the walks and views of the Chico Circuit. There were lots of nice small touches in the service, and the friendly staff spoke good English and went out of their way to be helpful. Highly recommended.
Cons: We had a car, and it would be tricky if you didn’t.

Pros: We were 2 women on a girls trip to Argentina. We booked a suite/cottage with 2 bedrooms, fireplace, sauna...wow! The views can’t be beat. The staff was super. Breakfasts lovely. We are sorry to leave!
Cons: We weren’t impressed with dinner. However, their vegetables and potatoes were excellent!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were incredibly friendly, competent and professional. The setting was beautiful, situated on a hillside overlooking the lake with use of the mountains as well. The rooms were large, clean and the beds were incredibly warm and comfortable. Loved the morning breakfast and the jet tubs in the bathrooms!
Cons: Only one small drawback was the occasionally slow Wi-Fi and Internet connection in my cottage. I also had a challenge with my transfer from the arrival at the airport to the hotel, but the hotel apologized and made sure that my return transfer was efficient and on time and reduced the cost. Overall this is a very friendly, beautiful and professionally-staffed hotel and perfect for people who love the outdoors and comfort at the same time.

Pros: Location and setting is great though we were helped by hiring a car as a little way out of town. Staff were helpful and the art around the hotel is great! The food (breakfast and dinner) was really great too.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is 11km out of Bariloche but as we had a car this was not a problem. Also it is near Cerro Catedral and the road around the peninsular which was very interesting. The hotel is spacious. It has a very warm swimming pool even the outside section. Our room had a lovely view of the lake and although near the road we could not hear the traffic noise if the window was closed.
Cons: Nothing except we weren't warned by the hotel that the Cerro Catedral chairlift would be closed on general election day, but this is not likely to occur again.

Pros: Our studio, lake view room had very large windows looking on to the gardens, sculptures, mountains and lake. So beautiful and peaceful. Small, shallow but warm pool leading from inside the spa to the outside. Very nice breakfasts, served to your table - eggs however you like them - breads, cakes and pastries. The hotel is about 15 minutes drive from the town centre (around 500-550 ARS). It was an excellent choice.
Cons: Nothing

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent staff and restaurant!!! Denise was specially helpful. Very comfortable room with balcony and amazing view. We'll be back as soon as possible!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was away from the downtown area which is more hectic, dirty and noisy. Great views from your room. Short path down to a quiet dock on the lake where we did morning yoga. Close to outdoor activities that we participated in. Tasty breakfasts. Comfortable lounge and yard areas. Great massage where you get worked over like you’re a professional athlete.
Cons: The temperature in the room was a bit hard to control so it’d get too hot at night and you couldn’t leave the balcony door open or else bugs or these falcons that hang out on the porch could wander in (no screen door). Not a big deal overall - you can open a small bathroom window and get some cool air.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Spacy and comfortable room with magnificent views. Very well decorated hotel, with nice details and good size living room. Decent breakfast and although few staff, service is very good
Cons: Pool and spa could be better taken care and serviced. Rooms become very hot in the afternoon sun, awnings could be a simple solution.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: amazing place, great restaurant.
Cons: perhaps some heating system problem, the room was cold. Internet didn't work.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful small boutique hotel overlooking the lake. Secluded and quiet. Very nice restaurant in the hotel. Right off the Circuito Chico with hiking and other activities nearby. 5 minute drive to the dock for boats to Isla Victoria. Great restaurants nearby.
Cons: Quite a drive from the airport and is tucked away off a dirt road. No problem if you have a car.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: This is a good place to relax, far away from the hustle of Bariloche downtown, which is not very attractive. The staff is helpful, polite, friendly and speaks English very well. Denisse always cared for our concerns and gave us good advice regarding activities in the region. I also liked that it's a rather small hotel so that we had a really quiet and relaxing stay. The restaurant is very good! The quality of the meals is extraordinary and the restaurant has a lovely view on the lake and the mountains. Breakfast is good, with a lot of variety in sweets, whereas the selection of salty dishes is very basic (only ham, one sort of cheese and eggs). In general, the decoration of the hotel is genuine and appealing.
Cons: I would definitely recommend to book a deluxe room. Our standard room was located in the cellar and viewed mostly trees, which provoked a rather cold and dark atmosphere. I didn't expect that, regarding the photos shown on booking.com. In addition, the heating only worked in the third night (although the staff tried to fix it). We both had a little cold, so we would have appreciated the heating. Also, more sockets near the bed would be useful (actually, there was only one on each side for the lamp). All in all, the room felt a little like a "low budget option", although I don't consider 160 Dollar per night low budget. The outside area (pool, terrasse) didn't look very appealing. The rusty seating group is uncomfortable and the sunbeds are quite dirty. It would be little effort to replace those.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous property, lovely clean rooms with amazing views over the lake and friendly, helpful staff. We were apprehensive about booking this property without having a car rental, however we were able to arrange activities (bike rentals, kyacking, taxi's) directly from the hotel and being a bit further out of town was worth it to stay here for the 4 nights we had in Bariloche. Would definitely come back!
Cons: The consistency of the restaurant - the first night we had a great dinner, the second it was quite average. Not sure what the difference between the days was but the second night put us off eating there again.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful staff... English, Spanish and Portuguese speakers, they gave us lots of good recommendations and helped us reserving programs and external services. I strongly recommend the lake view. An spectacular view of the mountains, lake and nature every morning.
Cons: You should definitely rent a car, the hotel is a bit far from everything. Rental prices are quite high so I recommend making reservations as soon as possible. Consult the staff to see if they can get you a better price on rental - this is not particular to this hotel though, it is a good thing to have a car to move around independently of where you stay in Bariloche.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic hotel in a private gated town just outside Bariloche. Very smart hotel with great facilities and very friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: In terms of location, it is outside the town and you need a car to get there. This wasn’t a problem for us though as we really liked staying outside Bariloche and weren’t very interested in the town itself. In fact we loved the location of the hotel with stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Big room with great view and spacious bar and sitting areas. Note the hotel is way outside Bariloche town, and a little difficult to find. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant which was pretty good.
Cons: Over enthusiastic security getting into and out of the complex, which includes a golf course and many private homes.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast - sets you up for the day. Fantastic views accross the Golf Course down to the lake. Enjoyed using the pool to enjoy some early summer sunshine. Front office and F+B teams are great, warm welcome, helpful tips on the local area all really passionate about the area. The Golf course is amazing - take your clubs!

Pros: The people working at the hotel are wonderful! We received excellent restaurant recommendations from them and their breakfast service was great! Also, every room has a fantastic view of Lago Nahuel Huapi and Bariloche city. The location of the View Hotel is pretty good--easily within walking distance of a mercado and many good/great restaurants and coffee shops.
Cons: The bed was a little firm for my wife's taste and the bathroom was smallish.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing view and location. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very accommodating. Friendly, courteous and warm was our experience.
Cons: I didn’t appreciate booking.com saying that there was only one room left at the time of booking when we know that was untrue. It makes me distrust booking.com.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved our stay at the View Hotel. The owners are warm, welcoming and super friendly and helpful. When we checked in, they gave us a map with lots of recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area, and offered to help us with booking any excursions if we needed. Our room was lovely; a good size, with great storage for clothes, a mini fridge, good air con (we had really hot weather during our stay, so that was essential!), excellent bathroom with a really good shower, a comfy bed, and a beautiful view over the lake. It was also always super clean. The hotel is also in a great location - just a short walk from nearby restaurants and bars, and the town centre. Breakfast was good too, with plenty of choice, and again warm service from the hotel owners. Overall, the hotel has a really lovely family atmosphere and great hospitality, which we thoroughly enjoyed. I would definitely come back and stay again - highly recommended.
Cons: There was nothing that we didn't like. However, the hotel doors are always locked, so when we came back from being out late at night, we would have to ring the bell to be let in, waking the owners up each time. They never seemed to mind that in the slightest, and were always friendly and glad to see us back - but it did make us feel rather guilty about having to disturb them constantly. That's the only thing I would say, which wasn't really a downside at all for us, only perhaps for them!

9.0 Excellent
Pros: To be honest - that hotel has 2 great advantages - the STAFF and the VIEW. The staff is really super nice and helpful, and they did for me a great favor. The Monsieur at the breakfast was soo nice, and we also met a Russian speaking guy at the receiption. The view from the Lake view room is amazing!!!! I did not notice in my room any soundproof problems, as stated in many reviews, for me all was OK. All is clean! Beds are comfortable.
Cons: The rooms are old. The Lake view rooms are renovated - re-painted. When we arrived and 3 days of our stay we had strong smell of painture in the room. And that was BAD. And there were no other rooms available. The furniture is old. But the bed is Ok! The bathrooms are old, not renovated. All is clean - that is good news. The hotel itself is old, with not perfectly working elevators - making some strange sound.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Facilities
6.3 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Lacking a few things.. like a kettle. Room was small enough, 2 person twinr room with only one chair. Also really noisy especially Friday night. From cars with loud music and a night club. I was expecting the hotel to be a bit nicer.

7.5 Good
Pros: My apartment had a lovely view and was walking distance of 2 restaurants.
Cons: There is no signage and the google pin is not correct place. They only take cash which is very inconvenient. My apartment had the BBQ at the back in a tiny space that I also had to park the car in. During the day there were workmen using power tools next to me and at night the adjoining rooms were very rowdy. The kitchen was missing key items and all the pan handles were loose. Unless you are here for the golf I’d give the place a miss.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: staff was extremely friendly. always on top of everything and ready to help. the view from the place was astonishing I would highly recommend this place to anyone who would like to spend time in Bariloche surrounded by nature in the actual property
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location, covered pool, bungalow in general
Cons: It needs some update, fridge was not working when we arrived, but it was fixed soon after. Washer machine was dripping, and almost flooded the room, I had to fix it. Some small details that need to be fixed. Also, the fact that according to the "Bariloche Law" we needed to checkout at 10.00am is not good. Specially if it is clear only around 9.00am!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Comfort and location
Cons: NO WIFI

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was very good, the staff was as helpful as they could be, the breakfast was good and the coffee was excellent. The lobby was spacious and the elevators worked well and were fast and uncrowded. The fitness center was excellent and the pool was beautiful. The bathroom was clean and well equipped. There was a good safe in the room and plenty of hangers for clothes.
Cons: The carpet was old and stained and needed a good cleaning, the walls needed some plaster and paint, the bed was a bit hard. The staff was always nice but many of them could not speak English or not well. However, we made everything work. Because I speak Italian, it was a bit easier.

Cons: A little Bathroom
7.0 Good
Pros: Right in the centre. Staff helped me arrange nearby cheap and secure parking, which I was able to exit at an early hour.

7.9 Good
Pros: Excellent price and location
Cons: The lady in the front desk is unkind
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Value for the money.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent! No frills hotel, but VERY clean and comfortable. Went skiing and took the bus up to Cerro Catedral. There is room on the bus at this pickup point(1.5 blocks) bus number 55. If you were to try and board 2 stops closer to the ski resort, its full! English is spoken at the front desk. Money exchange store is located next to the Hotel.
Cons: Breakfast was not an option. It may have been that it was off season and not enough people, plus the currency was crashing. It may have just become too expensive. Food options a block away at other locations...
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location, very central, friendly staff, good bed
Cons: I was there in cold weather and I was happy to keep the windows close. With windows open the room was very noisy from traffic and people on the street. Unavoidable with a hotel in the centre of town
