Pros: Exceptional service, amazing views and great food.
Cons: We had to leave.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location is impeccable. Staff is inviting and professional.
Cons: The hotel fitness center is tiny and has virtually unusable equipment. Also, the hot tub was lukewarm at best. If fitness and relaxation via hot tub are high on your list during your stay in San Carlos de Bariloche, then I would look elsewhere. If you can overlook those two variables, however, then this place will be perfect for you in all other respects.
9.3 Excellent

Cons: Couldn’t use either x2 jacuzzi’s or sauna as they are never on ore broken. Bread and hot water ran out very breakfast and it was frustrating constantly having to wait until it got restocked. Restaurant nice enough but not great value compared to all the great food in the local area.

Pros: Ok :) many good things so.. First of all the service was amazing, all the staff members were super kind and most importent, the constant atention to little deatails, for example: the balloons in the room for my wife’s birthday, the chocolate on the bed before sunset, birthday cake on breakfast ! The room was extraordinary, view was stunning and the spa facilities in the room were great. We really loved the place and hopefully will come back in the future!!

Pros: We booked a stay at Inacayal Lake Hotel pretty much last minute and at that time it was the only hotel that seemed to have the facilities and level we were looking for (4-star hotel with a nice view, good breakfast and a pool). I'm happy to say that the hotel exceeded our expectations because of the incredible view, super helpful staff and a nice breakfast which has a lot of options. Couldn't really ask for more!
Cons: The only thing that bothered us just a tiny bit was the cleanliness of the bathroom in our room and the pool area which both had some hair here and there.

Pros: Spacy and comfortable room with magnificent views. Very well decorated hotel, with nice details and good size living room. Decent breakfast and although few staff, service is very good

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Loved the room, the staff, and the location.
Cons: Improved coffee would be great; everything else was fine.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful small boutique hotel overlooking the lake. Secluded and quiet. Very nice restaurant in the hotel. Right off the Circuito Chico with hiking and other activities nearby. 5 minute drive to the dock for boats to Isla Victoria. Great restaurants nearby.
Cons: Quite a drive from the airport and is tucked away off a dirt road. No problem if you have a car.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff were incredible, helpful and very accommodating. The hotel is gorgeous and the rooms are very spacious. Meals were of a very good quality.
Cons: Nothing.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: This is a good place to relax, far away from the hustle of Bariloche downtown, which is not very attractive. The staff is helpful, polite, friendly and speaks English very well. Denisse always cared for our concerns and gave us good advice regarding activities in the region. I also liked that it's a rather small hotel so that we had a really quiet and relaxing stay. The restaurant is very good! The quality of the meals is extraordinary and the restaurant has a lovely view on the lake and the mountains. Breakfast is good, with a lot of variety in sweets, whereas the selection of salty dishes is very basic (only ham, one sort of cheese and eggs). In general, the decoration of the hotel is genuine and appealing.
Cons: I would definitely recommend to book a deluxe room. Our standard room was located in the cellar and viewed mostly trees, which provoked a rather cold and dark atmosphere. I didn't expect that, regarding the photos shown on booking.com. In addition, the heating only worked in the third night (although the staff tried to fix it). We both had a little cold, so we would have appreciated the heating. Also, more sockets near the bed would be useful (actually, there was only one on each side for the lamp). All in all, the room felt a little like a "low budget option", although I don't consider 160 Dollar per night low budget. The outside area (pool, terrasse) didn't look very appealing. The rusty seating group is uncomfortable and the sunbeds are quite dirty. It would be little effort to replace those.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Stars And the facilities where great. The food is superb and the wine selection was out of this world. Prices where really affordable too.
Cons: There was nothing to complain during our whole stay at the hotel, we had a great experience.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The food is EXCELENT, gourmet food. The floor is heated in the whole appartament.
Cons: Nothing

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast is good, location is good to start hikes around Bariloche, private parking is available, rooms are clean, microwave and sink is in the room, bathroom was big
Cons: Slow WiFi, little English at the reception
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I had a very enjoyable stay here. The property is surrounded by a garden that seems more like a forest than anything else. It feels like a very welcome breathe of fresh air away from busy Bariloche. As a consequence, you get a beautiful view inside the tree canopy and all this nature from the room's wide windows. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful which went to very kind lengths to make my stay comfortable. I find it very easy to recommend this place if you want to relax and spend a few days to enjoy Bariloche. I stayed twice and did not regret it.
Cons: There are a few nitpicks and things I need to mention for the sake of fairness : - The road traffic nearby can get loud at busy hours, although the staff was more than accommodating to get a quiet room that helps a lot in that regard. I am a light sleeper and spent good nights. - The location is a ten minute walk up and down a steep hill from the center of bariloche. However there being a fairly priced restaurant on the property's doorstep and another 5 minutes away helps a lot if you, like me, are on foot. - The property has good wifi coverage but, being far from Bariloche, the bandwidth is not enormous. It wasn't much of an issue but it's something to bear in mind if this is a requirement for you.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Can't get any better for the price, was surprised to see what we got for the price. Breakfast included.
Cons: Norhing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice place to stay. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Definitely recommend!
4.3 Okay
Pros: Very good value for money until we realized they stole many small items in our suitcase (Swiss knife, electric shaver with charger and a hard drive)
Cons: The service and the rooms are very nice but it’s very disappointing that they didn’t really tried to check the staff in order to get back our stolen items.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice room, decent size. Good shower. Little kitchenette in the room. Very helpful staff. Decent breakfast. Good location for bariloche.
Cons: A kettle in the room would be nice. Although there was a microwave which worked.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very basic but good breakfast! Strong coffee :) Friendly yet down to earth staff, very low key, chill place. A great place to be a base camp :)
Cons: The facilities were quite basic and straightforward, which fit our needs perfectly. If someone was looking for more luxury, The walls were somewhat thin, which is to be expected for the area and age of the building. It wasn't a problem for us.
9.5 Excellent
Cons: 20 minute walk into town but not a problem for us
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff was amazing and was the hotel with the best English level during out long trip. Breakfast was also very good.
Cons: It's a bit far away from downtown but you can always take a taxi.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice design, great staff, comfortable room.
Cons: Location is a bit out of the way, but relatively quiet.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The manager helped us very much. The room was excellent with everything you’d want. Breakfast was definitely Argentina style; large variety of pastries and savory choices.
Cons: Everything was great.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The people working at the hotel are wonderful! We received excellent restaurant recommendations from them and their breakfast service was great! Also, every room has a fantastic view of Lago Nahuel Huapi and Bariloche city. The location of the View Hotel is pretty good--easily within walking distance of a mercado and many good/great restaurants and coffee shops.
Cons: The bed was a little firm for my wife's taste and the bathroom was smallish.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our stay was very nice. The lady working at the front desk went above and beyond for us as we were staying over Christmas. She worked so hard, and yet was always so friendly and willing to help out. The rooms were very nice, with a great view of the lake.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Carlos (one of the stuff) was the nicest guy that we had mate in our vacation
7.5 Good
Pros: The view was nice, the staff was nice. There was parking below the structure. The breakfast was nice.
Cons: Wifi barely worked for about two hours out of my stay -- the rest of the time it didn't at all. They reset it several times. That's a dealbreaker for me, as I had work to do.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing view and location. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent staff, VERY clean and comfortable
Cons: Nothing not to like!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very accommodating. Friendly, courteous and warm was our experience.
Cons: I didn’t appreciate booking.com saying that there was only one room left at the time of booking when we know that was untrue. It makes me distrust booking.com.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved our stay at the View Hotel. The owners are warm, welcoming and super friendly and helpful. When we checked in, they gave us a map with lots of recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area, and offered to help us with booking any excursions if we needed. Our room was lovely; a good size, with great storage for clothes, a mini fridge, good air con (we had really hot weather during our stay, so that was essential!), excellent bathroom with a really good shower, a comfy bed, and a beautiful view over the lake. It was also always super clean. The hotel is also in a great location - just a short walk from nearby restaurants and bars, and the town centre. Breakfast was good too, with plenty of choice, and again warm service from the hotel owners. Overall, the hotel has a really lovely family atmosphere and great hospitality, which we thoroughly enjoyed. I would definitely come back and stay again - highly recommended.
Cons: There was nothing that we didn't like. However, the hotel doors are always locked, so when we came back from being out late at night, we would have to ring the bell to be let in, waking the owners up each time. They never seemed to mind that in the slightest, and were always friendly and glad to see us back - but it did make us feel rather guilty about having to disturb them constantly. That's the only thing I would say, which wasn't really a downside at all for us, only perhaps for them!
Villa Huinid Hotel Bustillo - San Carlos de Bariloche - Building
12
8.9 Excellent (1,675 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Villa Huinid Hotel Bustillo in San Carlos de Bariloche, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Cerro Catedral Ski Area and Civic Center Bariloche. Featured amenities include a business center, express check-in, and express check-out. Event facilities at this hotel consist of a conference center and a meeting room. Free self parking is available onsite.
4.5 Okay
Pros: The restaurant was very good. The food and the service as well. Also the view to the lake was very nice. The staff was friendly but poorly trained. The location is very good. It's just 2 km from the center which could be considered as a walking distance.
Cons: Definitely this is not a five star hotel. The staff were poorly trained, the overall facilities were old and outdated. The gym was very poor and old. The breakfast was poor as well. I defiantly would not recommend.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is awesome. Most of the things you want to do in the national park are within an easy half hour commute: Mountain climbing, hiking, horseback riding, sightseeing. Candidly, you do not want to stay in downtown Bariloche. I was warned by the rental car folks, travel agency, and the front desk that if you leave anything in your car around downtown it will be broken into. This hotel is about two miles out of town so the chemically addicted underclass that robs for money for their drugs aren't so much of an issue. Breakfast is stellar. There's a wide selection of delicious food. On three days we went at 0830 when the crowds were light. The last day we went at 0930 and it was pandemonium, almost more people than chairs so crowds were milling, some people moved tables into walking lanes to obstruct it... That was the Friday before Easter so I suspect the hotel was at peak capacity.
Cons: You can forget the hotel marketing about the hot tub. The first day we saw it was empty and got in it and were promptly thrown out. Apparently it's by reservation only, and for the four days we were there were zero availabilities. We'd been hiking all day and it would have been nice. Get a room on the frontside if you can influence it. Last time I was here we enjoyed a beautiful vista across the lake. This time the backside view was of the foliated steep escarpment behind the hotel. Beware that the price will go up some. The town compels an "Ecotasa" tax upon visitors, akin to a resort tax. I think all hotels in Bariloche have this. It's a few more dollars, but I just dislike being nickel and dimed when led to believe there was full disclosure. I will try to include a photo of the tax flyer, view out the back and view out the front.
6.8 Good
Pros: Breakfast was excellent!
Cons: Not much of an option for lunch/dinner.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is an all a round great place to stay. The staff were great, room was excellent!
Cons: Breakfast was great but the scrambled eggs have a lot to be desired :-)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful views across the lake to the mountains. Friendly staff, nice pool and good food.
Cons: Was 2 1/2 km walk into town along a busy road with no path or sidewalk short taxi ride though.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hot tub! Good location if you have a car.
Cons: Breakfast wasn’t that great but ok.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The sheets were nice and there were different kinds of pillows. The service was very good, the view and location were great. Good towels, bathroom products. Nice included breakfast buffet with a large variety to suit anybody.
Cons: The room decor was a little old fashioned, but so are the rooms at the Llao Llao for double the price, unless you pay thousands ($US) for the new wing.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff , general atmosphere and beautiful view
Cons: No air condition and rooms get stuffy. I would give it a 4 star in quality, cost and services .
7.0 Good
Pros: The Staff was friendly. The location is good, despite not being in the city center.
Cons: The bedroom was too small.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The natural surrroundings are perfect and the hotel is totally professional.
Cons: There's nothing not to like!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was beautiful, but old. Excellent bed and room size. Also, the bathroom was very good, big and clean, but like I said before a little bit old.
Cons: First of all we had to pay an ECOTASA, tax that we didn’t consider; it was 600 Argentinian pesos for 4 days or 3 nights. The restaurant wasn’t as good as I would like, not too much variety. The pool was indoor and had a very bad odor and too hot, not very nice in summer.

The hotel is not fancy, it was perfect for our needs, and it is one block from the historic center of Bariloche...such a great location.
Cons: Nothing!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location for being close to shops and restaurants, plus the bus stops. Lake view is beautiful. 1 room had a phenomenal bathroom. Reliable airport shuttles. Good housekeeping.
Cons: Lift is as slow as molasses. Breakfast is pretty basic and only had 1 or 2 tables to fit more than 2 people so can be a bit cramped and awkward if you're not early enough. 1 room didn't have a power socket near the bed which made charging phone inconvenient due to lack of other seating options. Wifi was very weak and unstable.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Execent location and very clean
Cons: The breakfast is good but quality and variety of fruits is poor.
7.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good but no hot options. WiFi is good everywhere. Location for downtown buses and shops is excellent
Cons: Don’t book a room that faces the street. Apart from no view the noise overnight from traffic, kids on motorbikes and party goers prevents you from sleeping
9.3 Excellent
Pros: A very nice, pleasant and clean hotel with a beautiful lake view. Great hospitallity thanks to the staff
10.0 Excellent

8.5 Excellent
Pros: location and breakfast.
Cons: My room was very cramped and loud, I am finding as a genius member, I often get poor rooms ..is this because I can’t cancel?

8.3 Excellent
Cons: Old fashion, needs updating
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great service in the restaurant for dinner. Great breakfast food but your toaster does not work...
Cons: The wait at the reception on arriving. We were 2 couples who wanted to each pay our bill separately and it took quite a while to work out. We did not expect that in such a high end hotel.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast, location(views), table in bungalow, 2 loos, gardens, wifi. Laundry in 24 hrs.
5.5 Okay
Pros: The hotel has a spa, swimming pool and an excellent breakfast.
Cons: The property has several different houses on the grounds. It was unclear to me when booking that we would be staying in an older version of the hotel away from the main building. The rooms were old and a bit grungy. In order to get to breakfast or go to the pool, visitors have to walk through the garden. So make sure you know what you book.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: View over the lake. Excellent restaurant.
Cons: Our room was a duplex cabin/cottage which needs renovation.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice place a bit outside Bariloche with its scattered architecture. Very quiet. Excellent breakfast.
Cons: Given the price level, one would expect the room is better equipped. No chance to make coffee or tea.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room service was excellent.. the food came very good
6.8 Good
Pros: Hotel restaurant served really refined food. Beautifully presented and good quality and execution. Got away from all the run of the mill stuff. Breakfast, although a lot of choice, it came down to pastries, cornflakes, fruit and the usual scrambled egg and bacon. Mass produced food, no finesse. Coffee tasted foul. But to be fair this kind of large buffet food seems to be the norm in Argentinian hotels with lots of people taking pictures of the spread, so maybe by this standard it is good and only the European palette is not so well catered for. I just wished they would add muesli, some nuts and plain unsweetened yogurt to their repertoire.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Well located
Cons: The breakfast was excellent but to many people
6.2 Good
Pros: parking was provided fairly close to the room.
Cons: Hard to find driveway to the property, steep. The restaurant was good the 1st night and poor the 2nd. Very slow service. One desk person was great and the other was not so nice.

4.3 Okay
Cons: It was super loud due to construction work. The rooms are very old fashioned - the pictures do not reflect that accurately. Cannot see why this would be 4 stars standard.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice pool! Good breakfast
Cons: Wi-Fi in room was not always working
8.8 Excellent
Pros: central location, sincere staff, excellent breakfast, spacious lobby, pretty good gym, including a bench rack, dumbells and other equipment that are not shown in the photos!
Cons: Wi-fi was the slowest of 3 hotels I stayed at in Bariloche; The gym is only open from Noon (but they did let me use it in the morning after some negotiating); at the time of my stay there was a construction site next door making noise even on Sunday
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Central location, great gym/spa area
Cons: Slow wifi and mattress way too soft
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Locatin is perfect! Right in the middle of the Main street (Mitre). The staff were very kind and helpfull. Room was very clean and quiet. The beds are comfortable.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Close walking distance to town centre. Good breakfast.
Cons: Bed a little too firm for me, but that’s just a personal choice.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The hotel had a very good location
Cons: The quality of service of hotel staff was terrible, they are very unfriendly. For example, I had to insist several times so they can help me with a reservation on a local restaurant, as they insisted that I should do it or simply arrive to the restaurant. The service at the bar was even worst. One night we had to wait for about 20 minutes to order a couple of beers. The attitude of the bar tender was very unkind, unfortunately it was late at night and very cold, then we had to stay at the hotel; otherwise I would have never waited such a long time for a beer with very rude attitudes from the staff.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Walking distance to everything downtown. Pool and sauna were nice. Decent size shower.
Cons: Tended to be very noisy at times. WiFi could be better.
6.8 Good
Pros: Quiet family room with 2 bathrooms
Cons: Breakfast during a tour group was chaotic and poorly managed. It was like vultures on carrion.
7.5 Good
Pros: The receptionist area is very well managed with great service support overall. They work very well together to go above and beyond client needs. They get five stars for helpfulness and service. The excursion desk at the hotel was also very helpful and had a lot of information to support guest tour requests. Location is great. It’s in the heart of the town and close to restaurants, shopping, the lake which is a few blocks walk.
Cons: The room itself is dated without air conditioning which makes it stuffy and warm. Although there is a ceiling fan it is not adding to the overall comfort. If you open the window you then have to contend with the street noise below. The bed mattress was very cheap, thin and generally uncomfortable. The restaurant waitstaff are not very good. The bathroom is dated and has an odd configuration with the toilet directly behind the door and in a tight corner making it awkward to use. They neglect tables and service is very slow. The breakfast was adequate but there were few healthy choices.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It has nice facilities, very clean, excellent breakfast.
Cons: The room was near a generator or something that kept making noise all night.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location is very central, close to main streets, restaurants and shops. Breakfast is very good for Patagonia.
Cons: They shown us 3 different rooms, not one of them looked like on photos provided on Booking.com. Room service has excellent vegetarian options...but most of them were not available. Restaurant and lunch cafe downstairs have no veg options except salad. Paid parking wasn't available. Concierge shown where we can park our car close to hotel doors, he said we definitely won't have a fine for parking there, but next morning what we see on the car window? Fine ticket. Also our room supposingly had refurbished bathroom. Wow, can't imagine how bad they are in unrefurbished rooms.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The view of the lake from the room. The window could open so there was fresh air. Beds were comfortable.
Cons: We had a room with a view of the lake. This resulted in some street noise which was easily ignored except for the cars passing late at night booming their car radios.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is excellent. Beds comfortable.
Cons: Activity director was aloof and not very helpful. But they may not even be connected with hotel. Heat was hard to regulate.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Modern, clean hotel not far from the central pedestrian street. Big, comfortable lobby with plenty of seating where you wait for your tours. Clean, modern, bright room with a refrigerator, safe and TV. Good breakfast buffet. Many charging outlets and strong wi-if signal. View of the lake is partially obstructed by buildings across the street but is still a plus. Nice swimming pool on top floor of the adjacent building.
Cons: Rooms with a view of the lake face a busy street with a lot of noise until late hours. Windows do open for air but then noise becomes difficult to stand. No kettle or coffee maker in room. No complimentary water provided in room.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful and the property is in a good location right in the centre.
Cons: The rooms are quite small and in need of renovation. Some of the floor covering was coming off in our room. The water pressure in the shower was really poor and didn't really get hot.
7.0 Good
Cons: Noisy room at night
7.5 Good
Pros: The hotel is close to the centre of town and the staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. Make sure you ask for a room away from the lift shaft.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was central. Bed was comfortable and rooms were very clean.
Cons: Noisy hallways due to the location of the stairwell.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We booked this room very last minute after a delayed bus meant we couldn’t stay in our previously booked accommodation. They promptly checked us in late at night and gave us a large comfortable room. Very helpful staff.
Cons: Shame that breakfast was not included in the price
