Rude racist
Nothing
The staff dirty rooms
Booked two nights but only stayed one
Across the street from the Grand Ole Opry
Booked two weeks in advanced, when we got there she told us they did not have a room with a king size bed. We said that was unacceptable. She finally found one. The whole time she was waiting on us, she was talking on her Bluetooth earpiece to someone. She ended her conversation on her earpiece with "I love you" so apparently it wasn't business. The room was just okay. Handle on the nightstand was hanging down. A bit run down. Moral of the story..."you get what you pay for"
Checkin
Way too long to checkin
The room was very dated nasty carpet old old old
Dirty
I liked that it was close to the convention center that held NWTF.
I didn't like how thin the walls are we could hear our neighbors talking, we could hear the cars passing on the expressway, and then there was black mold on the ceiling in the shower, the heat was either freezing cold or hot there was no way to set it In between.
Disappointed
The location was perfect for the conference I attended at the Gaylord Hotel. The walk to the venue was great and only took 10 minutes. Lots of choices for good food in the immediate area.
I stayed 5 nights and the bed was only made twice. There were food wrappers behind and under the bed and nightstand. I left them there as I wanted to see if they would be picked by the time I left. They were not picked up. The bathroom was dirty. I spoke to different counter staff during my stay and they appeared distracted and generally annoyed I was at their desk. The staircase to the upstairs rooms is literally falling apart and unsafe. I have stayed here in the passed and did not have this type of experience. I would definitely not stay here again.
..at least it had a comfortable bed and good showe
Located in a perfect area....close to Opry and restaurants.
We found a main room light and the microwave were non functioning. We reported this, but it was not fixed or replaced. Continental breakfast was spartan at best...and attendant was smoking just outside door and stank up the area with smoke.
People just want to complain..our stay was great
I read so many bad reviews and took the chance to stay at Fiddler's anyway. It was a weekend getaway for my husband & I. Great location, nice staff, room was CLEAN & we were happy for the price. Yes it's a little dated but comfy & clean made it well worth the $! Who goes on vaca just to sit in the room anyway!?
Continental breakfast could offer a little more choices, but I was ok with the donuts and coffee was really good.
I liked the location plenty to eat and less than a 10 min walk from the Opre Land Hotel.
When I checked in at 10:00 pm. I had to could not get into the lobby. I had to talk to the staff from outside and receive my keys from a bank teller style drawer between the glass. This did not make me feel safe or secure.
Misrepresented
The front desk staff didn't blink an eye when we told them our room was so filthy that we would not be staying with them. No surprise to them, apparently.
We did not stay here after seeing the broken toilet seat, hair all over the bathroom floor, food on the rug, dust covering everything below knee level, stains on sheets, TV remote covered in gunk. Will not recommend anyone stay at Fiddler's Inn. Worst hotel experience of my life.
