Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything. Maybe an extra, warm blanket at end of bed. I could not ask for more. Wonderful. See you next Nantucket Stroll, if not sooner. Amanda, Amoi, Jeff et Al. Thank you. Kevin.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This hotel is just beautiful, & has great areas to sit & enjoy. They set up a bar in the late afternoon that comes complete w/mixers, garnishes & snacks ... all you have to do is provide the liquor!
Cons: My only complaint is that the rooms are quite small.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Sean at the front desk was the first to call while we were arriving on our ferry, and greeted us warmly upon arrival. He was very friendly and wonderfully attentive to anything we needed! The hotel was beautifully decorated, and the breakfasts each morning were delicious! Perfect location for exploring town, renting bikes, proximity to ferries.
Cons: The only feed back I have is that we could hear people in the rooms next door, and there was a wide opening under the bottom of our door to the hallway, where we could hear guests talking in the halls. Thankfully it wasn't a huge issue, as guests were polite and quiet.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Just a wonderful place to stay with my girlfriend

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Very Quaint, clean and confortable
Cons: Old inn. Floors are thin and upstairs guests were noisy.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Charming , loved the white linens , street was very quiet, near town but not to close , breakfast was fantastic!
Cons: Tv didn’t work right , but we really didn’t need it .
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Fantastic host shared island attractions. Gave us a map. Inn is within walking distance of ferries and all downtown establishments. Perfect location. Beautiful room
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We thought that the breakfast offerings were wonderful and delicious. Innkeeper and his staff were very friendly and full of information about the island happenings. Unfortunately, we visited during the COVID pandemic, which limited our sightseeing; however, we had a great time!
Cons: Function of TV was a little erratic.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Incredibly friendly, attentive staff.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Really lovely stay - was supposed to be a babymoon with my husband, but he had a last minute work conflict and it turned into a visit with a friend. Very warm and friendly staff (shout out to the manager Jamie for a nice welcome note!), cozy front porch, pretty room, good location, so many nice little touches (eg brownies & lemonade, slippers, fire pits on porch) - we will be back!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staying at this hotel was absolute perfection from start to finish! We got picked up from the ferry and then upgraded to a suite and just felt like queens. The hotel is lovely, central to everything, and full of perks. We went in the hot tub, sauna, took a free yoga class, it was all heaven. Really, such a lovely experience and so relaxing. Hotel staff is out of this world! Fantastic!
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Room was nice. General staff were great.
Cons: Concierge seemed like she didn’t want to be bothered. Was expecting to have a view as I rented a 1 br sweet with ocean views. Our room literally had no views.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Classic charm with spacious rooms and beautifully decorated. Smaller property, not overwhelming. Great staff. Walking distance to downtown.
Cons: Our only complaint is that the walls are thin. The guests were all respectful but we could hear everything.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Best rooms for the price
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great staff. Excellent breakfast and afternoon snacks. Short walk into town.
Cons: weather, but that was out of everyone's control.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Rooms are so comfortable and clean! Staff was lovely, food was delicious!!
Cons: Nothing! Truly a great experience!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Outstanding b&b in the downtown area of nantucket. Only a few minute walk from the ferry which made it ideal. Great service and recommendations by kevin the innkeeper. Room was nice and bed was comfortable. Hot breakfast was outstanding as well. Everything on the island is expensive so relatively speaking the inn was a very good value.
Cons: Nothing, cant come up with a single thing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It's IN town so u can walk to everything, even the Box at night. Super quaint, great deal too
Cons: Like all Nantucket cottages, the rooms aren't huge but that's part of the whole package
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Beautiful, historical inn. All staff were exceptionally welcoming and informative. Breakfast was excellent and the amenities such as a packed beach bag in your room and access to beach chairs was wonderful. Kevin did a great job of letting us know about all activities happening at hotel and in the area and directed us toward a great place to rent bikes. It was all in all a wonderful introduction to an enchanting inn and island!
Excellent 10.0
Cons: The bathroom in suite 5 is ridiculously small.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything from the the staff, to the facilities we thoroughly enjoyed it. Kevin the GM does a phenomenal job along with his staff. They all take the time to have a conversation and make the stay as personal as can be. Had a small hiccup with the booking process that Kevin took care of immediately. The breakfast was delicious, mimosa hour was spot on and those afternoon treats sent us out to the town with some energy. It was tough leaving the inn and having to go explore Nantucket, that’s hows great it was. Can’t wait to stay there again.

Pros: Excellent location for walking around town, finding a restaurant, visiting the sites, and shopping. The staff at the Jared Coffin House was excellent; always available to answer a question, give directions, or satisfy a request.
Cons: There could have been a few more choices at the continental breakfast.
Excellent 8.6
Pros: location
Cons: room size was beyond small
Excellent 8.0
Pros: not much there
Cons: would have been nice if hotel bar and restaurant was open
Good 7.0
Pros: Location and the facility itself. Charming and very clean.
Cons: The breakfast was minimal and the staples were not replaced.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The friendly staff and cleanliness were outstanding. It is an old historic building which was charming.
Cons: Since it is an old building, you can hear voices in the hall and footsteps around and above you. There was only one choice of coffee for the Keurig machine and it was not strong enough for me.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great stay. Complimentary bikes were perfect! Great staff and comfy bed!
Cons: Nothing - I would stay again!
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Great location, comfortable beds, good breakfast, very friendly staff. It's an easy walk to anything downtown including the steamship authority. We didn't bring a car with us and I didn't feel like we needed one at all.
Cons: Walls are thin so you can hear other guests from your room. There are no refrigerators in the rooms so you'll need to ask for ice if you want to keep anything cold.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff was awesome. Always willing to help and offer suggestions. The continental breakfast was incredible.
Cons: What’s not to like.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very nice bed n breakfast. Has great vibes and decor, room was clean, bed was comfortable. They serve a solid continental breakfast in the morning and wine and cheese in the late afternoon. The manager of the property, Madeline, was extremely welcoming and friendly. She helped us navigate the island with great suggestions for things to do and places to go (and had a great music playlist during the day!).
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything was perfect! The staff welcomes each visitor and instantly you are best friends. Breakfast is wonderful and Happy Hour is perfect. Great variety of food and wine; most guests take advantage of these delightful offerings so you get to visit and become friends with other guests.
Cons: We didn’t like that the time flew by and we had to leave!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Perfect location- close enough to everything yet in a quieter, private area. Madeline was friendly, welcoming, helpful in every way! The room was perfect for a mother-daughter get away! We honestly felt like we were guests in a friend’s home. Breakfast- amazing!!
Cons: Wouldn’t change a thing!!

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The room and decor throughout were beautiful! I liked the complementary breakfast and look forward to coming back after COVID is over to get the full experience.
Cons: COVID.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Good location
Cons: The HVAC system for the building was in the "all heating" mode and our room was warm. The window provided some ventilation but with only one window, no cross-ventilation. The bath exhaust fan pulled some air in but it was switched with the bath light so we could not leave it on at night. We liked hearing the nearby church bell chime on the hour but it might annoy others. The cold breakfast featured a wide array of breads, muffins, yogurts, oats, and some pretty strange stuff; all very attractively presented. Something for everyone except if you want a traditional hot breakfast.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Breakfast was unique and delicious. Great location in a safe area. Lovely facility.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very nice breakfast. Great in town location! Comfy bed!
Cons: Ceiling height is a bit low for tall folks!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We loved the back yard patio with the fire pit. We met such lovely people. Also had breakfast with the same people. Such a wonderful place. We shall return
Cons: Honestly cannot say. The staff and hotel was wonderful to us. It was our first time in Nantucket and such a pleasure.

Pros: THe staff was friendly. The room was clean and well appointed. The facility met my needs.
Cons: N/A
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Bed
Cons: No 1/2 & 1/2 available for coffee. Auto shades on windows would not go up or down. No fans in room to move cool air around because of no AC
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff here is amazing. They do all they can do to help you and be sure you are well taken care of! I could not have asked for a better place to stay and better people to meet my first day on the island! The hotel is absolutely beautiful too! Definitely worth staying! Highly recommend!
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Very nice personnel Beautiful bathroom King size bed Very nice breakfast Delicious restaurant
Cons: Could hear all discussions in the room next door! Difficult to manage heat in the room Large bathroom door not convenient for the size of the room
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff were so warm and accommodating. The Inn has an old dark mahogany warmth but modern amenities. The bathroom was particular exquisite. And having the bar/restaurant of Via Mare downstairs also very convenient for a nightcap. I was ASTOUNDED that they take dogs and cats for a minor fee, in all rooms, and youndont have to stay with the pet while it’s in the room. Now we can travel there with our dog. I appreciated the in room fridge with water and juice offerings at no charge. Will definitely stay again. The young man at the desk and Felicia were so nice.
Cons: If I had to be picky I’d say there’s not a dedicated common area or outdoor sitting area except for the restaurant in its off hours. And many inns serve afternoon cookies which is a nice little thing after a day of strenuous biking or walking. The breakfast could offer one or two more things like yogurt and berries, bagels or toast. Also, not sure if unique to where my room was but could hear plumbing cycle like after the flush of a toilet.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The Greydon House is perfectly situated in downtown Nantucket. The hotel is clean and the staff is extremely friendly and efficient. You wont regret staying here!
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Beautiful interiors - especially the bathrooms
Cons: Odd sized towels (all sizes seem slightly too small for their purpose), but maybe that's just a US thing I haven't noticed before. Certainly wouldn't stop me recommending this place wholeheartedly :-) I would like the hotel to stop using disposable cups at breakfast and at the coffee stations. Please introduce mugs to be less wasteful!

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very nice light breakfast daily that was served by friendly staff. The desk staff was always very helpful and friendly as well. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. They also gave us credit back for our last night's stay when we ended up having to leave a day earlier than we planned...
Cons: N/A
Excellent 9.2
Pros: love the area and tropical gardens...patio and location
Cons: room was a little small
Excellent 9.2
Cons: Advertisement included cookies and wine in the afternoon and turn down service at night. New owners should either remove these amenities from all media or meet guest expectstions. Disappointed guests complain to staff who do not make the rules.
Good 7.0
Cons: COST
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The veranda house was the perfect little bed and breakfast place for my boyfriend and I during our stay in Nantucket. Peter greeted us with a big smile and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the weekend. We had a large king room which provided much needed space. It was comfortable and clean. The veranda house is in a great location and walking distance into town. It also provided a very relaxing environment outside if you want to have a low key glass of wine and take in the beauty of this quaint little town. I would highly recommend staying here.
Cons: There were no full length mirrors, so getting ready was a bit challenging.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: They brought breakfast up every morning for us. Staff was SO nice and the bathroom and rooms were brand new! They were over the top nice and I would 10/10 recommend to anyone.
Cons: Nothing!

Pros: Location near ferry and whaling museum

Poor 1.0
Pros: Quality no good por the price
Mediocre 3.1
Cons: Dirty bathroom, cracked windows -- not what you expect for a 600 dollar room. When I asked for a candle since our room smelled, they gave me a small birthday candle!
Excellent 9.3
Pros: The Inn was very relaxed and we felt comfortable the entire time we were there. The staff was very polite and willing to answer any questions about the island. The shuttles to town and beach were also very convenient.
Cons: The only thing I didn't like was that the TVs were not HD, but we didn't spend much time in the room so not a biggie.
Good 7.9
Pros: Breakfast buffet
Cons: had trouble finding our room after check in.
Good 7.9
Pros: The breakfast and shuttle service were great amentities! and proximity to the airport!
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Very clean
Poor 1.0
Pros: We were supposed to stay at the hotel on 7/27 and 7/28. Because of fog, we were unable to get to Nantucket from Warwick, RI. I know the cancellation policy but some sort of compensation would be appreciated.
Cons: couldn't get there because of fog referenced above.
Good 7.5
Pros: Breakfast and quiet
Cons: Shuttle was very slow and bumpy
Excellent 10.0

Mediocre 3.0
Pros: the location was the best part.
Cons: mouse dropping on the kitchen counter, a leaking shampoo dispenser, a very soft mattress that caused extreme back pain, a lack of comfortable chairs, an air conditioner that blew directly cross the bed, a bed positioned so there was only one way to access it, sticky floors, and peeling wallpaper
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: Location
Cons: Lack of interest of the proprietor
Excellent 9.6
Pros: We were pleasantly surprised to be assigned to a separate small suite on the property--do not believe we even saw this room listed on the web site. It was charming in many ways & we utilized the little kitchen. We also enjoyed the outdoor table and chairs on the patio in the back of the main house--which was quite near our suite & provided a lovely view from our kitchen window.
Cons: The toilet flush handle did not work when we arrived---luckily my husband knew how to take it apart and install it correctly so it did work as we only once saw 1 young woman on staff during our entire stay. Also, the shampoo dispenser dripped constantly and wasted the entire contents --there was always a pool of slippery shampoo on the shower floor. Lastly--the kitchen was oddly stocked--there were 8 coffee cups, 4 mugs and many plates, 2 large chopping knives---but NO small paring knives; there were large cooking pots but only a very small skillet that would not fit 2 hamburger patties. The coffee room was not well maintained it seemed--the water level in the coffee machine was always low, there was no regular black tea bags--only herbal or Earl Grey-- & no coffee cream one time (but there was plenty of that in our little kitchen. :)
Okay 5.4
Pros: The problem here is the management. Mitch Carl is a good guy but his approach to running the inn is unprofessional (and I'm being kind). At check-in, he was very formal and remote, barely spoke 3 sentences. The room (and entire inn) was a bit run-down: door knob loose, towels that smelled bad, tub that was not fully draining, poor lighting in the bathroom. When we put in an initial bad online rating after check-in, Mitch did not bother to ask what's wrong or what he could do. Instead, he insisted that we go elsewhere! Yes, we would very much enjoy spending our Saturday morning trying to find alternate accommodations (in fact, the three other inns that I had on my short list were booked). Well, perhaps that's his way of avoiding bad reviews, I don't know. Eventually, doorknob and tub drain were fixed and towels changed, and the remaining stay was uneventful. But this was a rent-a-room situation -- none of our normal inn/B&B warm and welcoming experience. For the price, it was very disappointing.
Cons: On the plus side, the location is excellent (steps from *everything* in the town) and the place was fairly quiet (we were on the 3rd floor). The breakfast vouchers gave us a choice of places to go to. Now, those were not places you'd normally go for real breakfast, but rather cafes/bakeries. Still, they were great for takeout for snacks or a picnic later in the day (the Bean's sandwiches were excellent).
Good 7.0
Pros: Location. Ease of check in. Cleanliness. Lack of stuffy clutter which often happens in old houses.
Cons: A little more water pressure, but that is probably not under your control. Perhaps petty, but the towels had a rather unpleasant smell. Could just be me.
Mediocre 3.0
Cons: TV didnt work, mold on curtain in shower
Excellent 8.8
Pros: The location was great! And the hotel was very good, clean, comfortable, no frills.
Cons: Just tweaking some of the details to make it a smoother experience: a lamp that was easier to operate, the bathroom door wouldn’t stay open, or close all the way, fix the torn wallpaper, and beef up the shower pressure. These are all minor things. The room was cozy and welcoming.
Okay 4.6
Pros: The location
Cons: Price-quality was not that good
Excellent 8.8
Cons: Need small refrigerator in every room
