The hostel is located along the Nakashima river in a calm place but only a few minutes away from the centre by foot. The lounge was very comfortable and you'll find a lot of information about the things to do in Nagasaki or in the next cities like the bus timetables to Unzen. A huge help given that it mays prove difficult to find these practical informations over the internet. The staff is also great and always of help if needed !
The staff was very nice and even gave me some guides when I checked in and helped me carry my stuff to my room.
There is no lift and I my room was on 4F, I think. So I had to walk many steps every time and also carry my luggage back down when I had to check-out. I didn't like the shower, because it was just one big shower room, which was only separated by a shower curtain. This means I didn't have that many options to put things like clothes somewhere to not get wet. Of course there were a coathook at the door, but I prefer a shower, where I have still a separated space, which doesn't get wet and where I can dry myself and get dressed properly.
A very well located hostel, with a helpful and friendly staff. Exactly what one can expect from an hostel.
The wonderful, friendly staff and the relaxed, quiet atmosphere of the hostel. It was very cozy and easy to navigate.
No elevator, have to carry luggage up to 4th floor
