- Clean Rooms. - Shops are in front of the door. Marienplatz is a few meters away. - Breakfasts are deliciouse and varied ( cereals. Bread and croissant (home made I think) cakes, cheeses. Egs, milk, orange juce, fruites, ......... And finaly the kindenss of the manager ^^ (who speaks English).
A neighbor was so loudy : He walk in the hallway with loud steps. opens and closes doors loudy so he wakes me up several times at night. beside that nothing to declare :D.
Terrific location, clean room, very comfortable.
Hallways could be better lit and spruced up. If they were this would be a 5/5.
+ Great location in the busiest part of Munich. The virtual center of the city, shops and public transportation is very, very close to the Pension. + Spacious and nice-looking room. + Cleanliness: everything was very clean, including the shared bathroom which was always spotlessly clean + Comfortable beds + Sink/water in the room (the bathroom is shared, though). This means you can brush your teeth without having to wait on the shared bathroom. Convenient really.
- Only one bathroom shared between two floors; no separate shower from the toilet cabins (it's all one room and if it is occupied by someone taking a shower - that's it - you have to wait); the water heater is too small for this many rooms - we had to shower with cold water multiple times (especially in the morning). - Cold rooms: for some reason housekeeping would turn the heating off every single time they clean the room making it very cold when we come back to the room in the evening. - Breakfast: Not bad, but limited in choice and lacks warm meals. A sandwich, something sweet, a coffee and that's pretty much it. Okay for one or two night-stays but not for longer. - General housekeeping issues (room door was difficult to close, the water faucets are old/style and not 100% working as you'd expect them to, elevator doors are super hard to open, etc.)
The location is perfect, easy to transport from here to ISPO show! Host is friendly to support when needed ex: provide boilded water and lending a plug converter when my was failed.
Everything was as described. Clean. I loved the room even though its small for some people.
A bit expensive but this is munich so!
Munich is one of Germany’s great cities. It is the home of Oktoberfest and the capital of Bavaria. In a city rich with history, it is important to have a hotel that gets you right in the heart of the sights along with giving you the proper accommodations to stay in comfort. When looking to find this combination, there is one hotel that keeps emerging in any research, and that hotel is the Pension Lindner.
