Pros: It's the taj. It's lovely and our room was freshly redone since last year. It's way too expensive for what you get, but where else would you stay in Mumbai? Breakfast buffet was always amazing in the past, this stay we were super disappointed. Milk was UHT from a box, selection was limited, took ages to get water refilled.

Pros: None better in the world than the Taj Palace Bombay —- History, architecture, staff, food, with a splendid treat to have a room in the Palace Building.

Pros: You will not get better client service at any hotel in the world. You will never forget your stay....it was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend the spa, the heritage tour and high-tea at the Sea Lounge.

Pros: The overall experience was fabulous. Their willingness to change my room, even after two sleepless nights, touched me the most. No questions were asked. Attitude of the host was most commendable. Their humility & ability to have a conversation was just heartwarming. The in-room dining requests were met without any objections. The food was delicious and I craved for more. Overall, my FIRST EVER STAY AT A TAJ, FANTASTIC! :)

Pros: The Abode Boutique Hotel is an island of relaxed, modern 21st century hospitality in the midst of Mumbai's most visited area (Colaba). In an area populated with large - generally expensive and luxurious - traditional hotels with lobbies and liveried staff, Abode has taken the 1st floor (one floor up from "Ground") of a building otherwise occupied mostly by offices and created an extremely casual and pleasant modern lodging place. The staff is personal, attentive, and super pleasant. The rooms are modern, well designed, comfortable and quiet despite being in a busy part of the city. The location couldn't be better - in one direction, it's just a few blocks walk to the India Gate, the waterfront, and the (in)famous Taj Palace Hotel; in the other direction, a few blocks walk to the national museum and the museum of modern art. The breakfast (included) was more than adequate. Although the hotel doesn't offer other meals, at least half of the restaurants recommended by our guide book were within walking distance of Abode (including a very pleasant Parisian-inspired bakery and cafe on the Ground floor). Overall, it was a perfect place for our 2 days in this bustling part of Mumbai.

Pros: I liked everything pretty much. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel is tasteful. A variety of food provided at breakfast. The location is perfect for exploring Colaba. They even provide a mobile phone for you to take whilst out in a Colaba.
