Nilesh welcomed us in the small hours of the morning-thank you! The breakfast was fantastic, always varied and delicious. The room and bed were so comfortable. There is always a lovely member of ataff around if.you have any questions. Decor was stunning, lovely touches and details. We took the foodie tour with Rahul Sihote and that was a total highlight.
Abode is a safe haven in this busy area. Felt a bit hassled in the markets nearby so when you head out, best to have a sort-of destination in mind!

Watermelon juice at breakfast was too good! Location perfect to explore Colaba.

Abode is an excellent hotel. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated from sustainable and reused materials and is just stunning. The staff go above and beyond to welcome you and make you feel comfortable. We had the pleasure of staying with Abode for Diwali and had the best time. Abode threw a little party for the staff and guests with dancing, henna and creating designs with coloured sand in honour of Diwali. There was even food, wine and dancing. We had the most wonderful time. Whenever we had a question, the staff were on hand and in addition, provided some great tips/suggestions on where to go for dinner/sight seeing. In addition to suggesting activities, abode runs tours as well. We went on the early morning tour and loved it. We saw the newspaper distributors, the flower market, vegetable market, sasson docks, Dhobi Ghat (laundromat) and the fisherman village. Our guide was informative and made us feel safe. It was fascinating and something we wouldn’t have done on our own. The food we had at the hotel was delicious! Breakfast was varied with local and international dishes, it was always delicious. Our room was stunning. We had the room with a shower, loo and stand alone bath. We gasped when we entered it and loved it. Our recommendation is to GO GO GO and book BOOK BOOK without hesitation. Only downside is it’s on a slightly noisy road but I think that is just Mumbai!
All the details of decoration in the room. Very good shower and bed. The breakfast was very nice with lots of choices.
