Very spacious rooms, accommodating staff, underground parking.
Room was uncomfortably warm. No matter what we did, opened all windows and turned on AC full blast, nothing seemed to work.
Great space good facilities. Helpful staff
Friday and saturday music keeping us awake. It was a shame because the other evenings were so quite.
The staff at Loft Hotel are stellar, from the folks at the front desk to the supervisor. We had some trouble with the room temperature the first night of our stay (the guest before us had switched on a central heat valve that is typically meant to stay shut and it couldn't get rectified till the morning). The staff did everything they could to have us move past that experience -- they upgraded the room, compensated us for the inconvenience caused, and were attentive, warm and helpful throughout our 3 night stay. It's a great location, very clean and comfortable with the right amount of quirkiness for us including a freight elevator with sofas and paintings in one part of the building! A continental breakfast is included and there is parking available (for a small fee).
There isn't anything to dislike. The quality of the staff makes the experience. Rue Saint Denis is one of Montreal's busier localities with lots of restaurants, eateries and nightlife. So if you don't like being at the center of all that action, this may not be the neighborhood for you. We liked it. We also like to walk, and it was at most a half hour walk from everywhere (or so it felt -- the Museum of Fine Art, old Montreal, the park and more ...). Enjoy!
Really large rooms
Elevator is really old fashioned.
Everything. The room, the shower, the kitchen and the location. Just great
The elevator is really old (like from old movies) and breakfast is kinda thin
