Newly renovated room was clean.
Parking lot, outside corridors and stairwell were littered with beer bottles and bottle caps. We had to be moved to another room since the key card would not work in the original room. Although they say they are pet friendly they have a pet fee. Breakfast was nonexistent, single choice of granola bar and coffee pots were empty.
I liked that, the room had small kitchen area and appliances ,I recommend the rooms to be provided with the cooking utensils as it is very awkward when you ask for things the brochures says are available and in reality you don't. The room was clean when we got there but for not being cleaned everyday or at least once in one of the three days it make less favorable.
The room didn't not get cleaned everyday make the guest go to reception and asked for clean towels on the 3rd day, it was not very convenient. The trash cans outside were full and very stinky one of the day.
Don't do it!
Not one thing.
When you leave a hotel and you think to yourself, wow I didn't die, then something is messed up. I stayed here a year ago and it wasn't this bad. I'm a single woman traveler and last year I felt safe. This year, not at all. They put me in a room that faced the front. This time I was in some obscure back room. I passed all these people just lurking and standing around who made comments as I passed. People were in their room but with the doors open like it was a neighborhood. A bad neighborhood. There was trash and dog shit laying around in front of some of the room doors. The inside of the room was equally disgusting. It was dirty. Peeling paint on the walls. Rusted out spots on the toilets and bathtub. If I hadn't been so scared to go back out to my car and pass all those sketchy people again i would have left. I went to the phone to call down to the office. But the hotel phone numbers had been bleached off the phone. I took pics. Barred my door and holed up for the night. This place was disgusting and awful and NOT dirt cheap. And like I said. I'm just happy I made it out alive.
