Hotel staff notified us that they did not alllw cats in the room even though the website says they allow pets. Then, they were unwilling to refund us for the room so we could stay somewhere else. Also, we asked to speak to manager but manager was never th
Didn't have breakfast
found an open bottle of water half drank left in fridgerator
The breakfast was bread or bagel and yogurt. I know people are scared but at least have fruit.
I did like the set up of the room and everything seemed clean. I also like the fact that washing and drying laundry is only $1 each. Janet at the front desk is nice to deal with.
They had eggs and yogurt and such in the refrigerator but had it locked so we couldn't eat any. There was barely anything offered to eat and no protein. They had bagels and there was cream cheese in the fridge but we were not allowed to have any. Who eats a dry bagel? I have low blood sugar and have to have protein to eat especially in the morning so I got my breakfast at McDonald's. It would've been nice if they had this info of a lack of breakfast items on their website. There also wouldn't be anything wrong with letting us have refrigerated items to go with the narrow choices of other food. I also did not like how loud the workers at Domino's Pizza across the parking lot from my room were. They played loud music in the parking lot at 2 am and I had to wear earplugs so I could get some sleep.
Breakfast was a to-go bag, which was fine. The problem was that my daughter's bagel was moldy. Not a speck, but all-across-the-bottom green mold. I discretely returned it to the front desk and asked for two fresh bagels. The staff was not very apologetic or accommodating, and tried to give me tiny pastries instead. I declined. This was a big deal, since it was the first night of our vacation, and set a negative tone. I did not feel that the staff listened to/shared my concerns about an obviously inedible breakfast.
