The staff was polite and very helpful. The location of the property being right on the 250 Loop was convenient. And they kept the property clean to the best of their ability. This isn’t a dig on the staff whatsoever. But that hotel looks, smells, and felt like it was 40 years old and in major need of a makeover. It was the worst Hilton property I’ve stayed in. The building is just old and crumbling. I normally wouldn’t dream of mentioning the condition of the building if it weren’t this bad. And then they charge normal Hilton prices. (But that’s because of the location and the oilfield is booming in Midland so I get it.)
Pros:The staff was very nice and the breakfast was good
Cons:The room had a hint of cigarette smell, there were traces of body hair in the tub and toilet. Also the toilet had some urine just behind the seat, and the bathtub had a ring around the inside of it.
Pros:Midland hotels are expensive, period. Housing is expensive, and there is a high demand. This hotel is a good value for this area. The beds are comfortable, water was hot and plentiful. The breakfast was great and the staff was very accommodating. Bottled water is available for breakfast at the front desk. Cookies and fruit infused water is available throughout the day. We stay at Hampton Inn often and have stayed in many places. Although the room could use some updating (blinds in the window, decor) I was very happy here! The location was easy to find from anywhere, shopping and restaurants are a 10 min drive away.
Cons:Window blinds, couldn't turn off the fan in room.
Pros:Probably the best hotel experience I've had while traveling for work. Very clean. Staff is very helpful and courteous. Breakfast was unbeatable.
