Everything was very clean and the hostel is located very well.
If you are a solo traveler, my advice is: don't go there. I've spent 1 night (Saturday) in the hostel, and the only people I met where mexicans who were staying there just so they could go partying, get drunk and get high. Although these people were very friendly, as someone who was visiting the city for 3 days I had other priorities. After the first night I also stayed in a different hostel, eventough I already book this hostel.
Good location. Clean bathrooms. Lockers available
Mosquitos! Hostal not conducive to meeting people.
Modern, common areas clean and room to hang out with others (but not anything organised to get people to hang out?)
The bathrooms were particularly bad and appeared to have not been cleaned for days. Blood splatter by what may have been a nose bleed, sinks full of garbage, floors sticky, shower full of rejected soaps etc. Everything else is OK but room 203 (14 bed dorm) was gross!
Location was terrible. You can't sleep with the noise coming from the main street - it is unbearable.
With a stay at Hostal Boutique La Tercia in Mexico City (Zona Rosa), you'll be a 4-minute walk from Paseo de la Reforma and 9 minutes by foot from Biblioteca Benjamin Franklin. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk and an elevator.
