Excellent 10.0
Pros: it’s just such a beautiful and tastefully decorated property, right in the center of everything but quiet and peaceful. Agnes and Erik were super nice. I loved everything and would love to stay there again some day
Excellent 10.0
Pros: excellent service,perfect breakfast,attractive interior
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The property was so beautiful and peaceful! The coffee was very yummy and the rooms are beautiful. It is also very very clean! The location is nice too.
Cons: The only thing is that it is very quiet so you need to be quiet as well. It is more a house to be comfortable and relax. This hotel is ideal for older guests and for people that want quiet.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Quiet area, great garden, amazing breakfast, lovely hosts
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This is a delightful hotel in Medellin that I was fortunate to be able to stay at. It was my first night ever in Medellin. The staff, and in particular the manager (Agnes) and the owner (José) were helpful and pleasant. Before we arrived I requested dinner recommendations and Agnes took it upon herself to call some local restaurants to canvass their availability for New Year's Eve. She also arranged a driver to bring us from the airport. The breakfast was at least perfect. Better than I could have anticipated. I would recommend this hotel to my friends (in fact we already have), and I am still a bit surprised I was able to stay there.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The boutique hotel is divided in two separated properties with exceptional design and beautiful tropical garden, the rooms are nicely designed with each own theme. The staff and owner gave so much attention and providing exeptional service, a true Royal treatment. The breakfast is great and spacious. Even the hotel is located in El poblado, and only a few blocks away from many restaurants and nightlife, the hotel surrounding is so peaceful. In the morning you can enjoy and listen to the birds whistles. You can enjoy a private hot tub located in the tropical garden (arrange in advance with the staff). A true hidden gem!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This hotel is a jungle oasis, with luscious with beautiful plants everywhere you look and personal and thoughtful touches that you won't find at chain/bigger hotels. The staff really goes above and beyond to make sure that you are comfortable and happy. The rooms, each unique, are spacious and thoughtfully decorated. The breakfast is amazing...it's honestly the best hotel breakfast we had in Colombia (I'm still dreaming of the fresh baked bread and croissants). The hotel is also located in a safe/residential area close to many delicious restaurants. Thank you Eric and Agnes for making our stay so wonderful!
Cons: The jacuzzi was cold...but I'm assuming this was because it was recently drained before our scheduled time due to covid.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This place is magical. Paradise at walking distance from Provenza / Lleras. It's calm, the view is fabulous, rooms are great, staff is lovely and attentive. Also delicious, diverse breakfast. I have tried a very large number of places to stay in Medellin and this one is my favourite by far.
Cons: TV is a bit small -- for whenever you get bored with chilling in the hammock

Poor 1.0
Cons: Horrible sevice¡
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Comfortable beds. Best view of city and exceptional staff.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful. Property was clean and comfortable. Good location for us.
Cons: A few maintenance issues. Not sure it is really a 5 star hotel, but it is quite nice.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything - staff were amazing , food was good and room was lovely. Couldn’t recommend more
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The room, an executive suite, was spacious with sofa, coffee table, desk, king bed, large bathroom, great shower, refrigerator, closets, good reading lights. The restaurant was excellent and we ate many meals here. Restaurant staff and reception staff were always very helpful. It seemed very reseasonably priced for the exceptionally large comfortable room.
Cons: The location was a little out of the way. 15 min by taxi to Poblado station. One taxi drivers couldn't find the hotel even after I showed him location on my Iphone, and we had to get out and get a second taxi. Would have preferred a location where one could walk to restaurants.
Good 7.5
Pros: The breakfast was good. The neighborhood is nice, although walking to parque lleras will take a while (15-20min), which is not an issue, the issue is it's very uphill on your way back. So If you want to be able to easily walk to restaurants etc this is not the place for you. But the location is close enough for a cheap taxi ride away (a dollar or 2). So it should not be a problem. Just wish I knew this before booking. You can also grab a bus right in front of the Hotel or if you really want to walk its around 30 minutes to the poblado metro station. I loved that it is not a noisy area which more than makes up for the fact it is not around the corner from restaurants and bar area. You can also easily dinner at the restaurant in the hotel. The meals are delicious and the price is good ( better than at parque lleras). The fitness is sufficient for a little work out. The staff is friendly. Especially at the restaurant. The free wifi works great. There is good parking space if you rent a car. The view froklm the room is spectacular. If you want to book tours to el peñol/guatape etc the staff at the front desk can help you. Better price than what you see on the internet.
Cons: The pillows were thick. My husband and I both had a major stiff neck.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: I loved the breakfast offered here. It was tasty and fresh. The location is perfect as there are several malls and shops around for you to enjoy. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Cons: At times, the cooling system in the room wasn't working right. Hopefully, it was only a temporary problem, and now it has been fixed.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The size of the room and the shower. The breakfast was excellent. All the people involved in the hotel were excellent.
Cons: A pool would have been nice, maybe there wasn't enough space. One small point: the name of the hotel. In British English if it had one 'n' then it would mean the Trash Can Hotel.
Good 7.7
Pros: Good food in the restaurant Free Coffee all day in the lobby
Cons: Small pool, it's more like a Jacuzzi Breakfast need more variety
Good 7.4
Pros: Quietness Cleanliness Views Staff friendliness
Cons: A bit out of the way.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Surrounded by trees and plants. Staff were great, especially the guy at reception. He fixed the safe in our room, arranged for someone to come to the hotel for a pre-flight Covid test, and spoke Spanish slowly and distinctly so that I could understand. He also speaks excellent English. Breakfast was good.
Cons: The restaurant doesn’t serve evening meals and it’s a 10 minute walk to the nearest restaurants. But I think that’s necessary given the trees and quiet location. Some reviewers have said that it is up a steep hill, but we are two ladies in our seventies and didn’t mind at all.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location and personal were very good!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The best stay we had in Colombia. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Great varied choice for breakfast. Good location. safe neighbourhood.
Good 7.0
Pros: Great little boutique hotel / guest house , in a quiet road just a little up from El Poblado / Calle 10. The rooms are nice and clean and overall great value for money. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful.
Cons: However, there was one lady working there (cleaner/breakfast cook) who made us feel extremely unwelcome, not tidying the room and being generally unpleasant. Infact, if it were not for her, we would have stayed probably another week. My guess is she didn’t like us because I was a “gringo” although I don’t know for sure, it was very odd.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Staff was very kind and caring, whenever I needed something they were there to help. Air conditioner worked perfectly. Breakfast is good. There are many places, restaurantes, bar, mall, cinema and transportation nearby.
Cons: Location is very good, however if you don't have a car, you are facing a good steep walk from "El Poblado", not bad though, and it is a safe place, alternatively you can pick up a cab. Advice to management: Leave a blanket in the closet just in case the rooms gets a little drafty.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Friendly staff, good breakfast
Cons: My bed Was very loud when I moved a little bit during sleeping
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Nice rooms, good shower and comfortable beds. Includes a breakfast and coffee is available too. Close to the nice area for bars and restaurants but a block away so you do not get the noise.
Cons: Doors closed very loudly so you can hear when other guests come and go.

Excellent 9.0
Pros: The room was really nice, lot's of light and everything was in good shape.
Cons: The common areas were closed due to covid. Other hotels do keep Sauna & Gym open so I suspect it's just a cost cutting measure.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Breakfast was wonderful with an amazing view! I was able to book a massage which was fantastic. The staff was super friendly and helpful.
Cons: The gym is actually a pilates studio so it was not open for people to use. The jacuzzi was under maintenance and not in use either. This would have been fine, except it did not match the description in the listing which said there was a gym and turkish bath.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Great location, excellent service, great spacious rooms with views, nice staff and best value for money in Poblado.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: the room was big an comfortable
Cons: we had booked a room with terrace. the First Night the key was not available to open the terrace. there Are not so many restaurants around.
Excellent 10.0
This hotel is perfect! Clean, good location, good free breakfast. And an amazing view!! But the best part was the staff, so nice the people work here that i was shocked over the service i got compare to all other hotel i stayd in colombia!! Dont even think about it, this is the hotel you want.. trust a traveler that traveled the last 15years and been living in colombia for 9months now. Thank you hotel casa victoria!
Excellent 10.0
Spend Christmas Quarantine here with my girl. The hot water wasn't working (they were working on it) but it wasn't too big of a deal. There was a ridicously hard storm that knocked out the power for the building and a few neighbors. Beds are Comfy Views are awesome Rooms are big, strongly recomend!

Good 7.0
Cons: room service stole my valued earrings
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The location was great and the food was delicious.
Cons: We had a problem at check in. They did not have our room available and at check out they were charging me for an extra night and I already had paid for the stay in full.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Luis front desk super nice & helpful. He also knew I wasn’t feeling well gave me bottle water and next day asked how I was. Very friendly
Cons: I think all rooms should have a bottled water just in case for travelers who don’t feel wel or offer if complimentary at front desk maybe a note
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The good taste and the nice staff
Cons: NA
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Location was great. Breakfast not that great.
Cons: The hotel looks very bad from outside. It doesn't give you good feeling when you pass by, or get there.
Okay 4.0
Pros: The hotel is well located and the accommodations fulfill the needs of any traveler.
Cons: The employees here are not trained to the level expected to this level of a hotel. Cesar Perez in the restaurant is the worst. Very disrespectful!
Excellent 8.8
A great swimming pool and Gym friendly English speaking staff and overall a very comfortable Hotel,I would stay again!
Excellent 8.5
We had a brilliant remain at Intercontinental Medellin. It offers the high carrier you may want to expect from the brand, giant well-equipped rooms, and large breakfast choices for all tastes. Plus a moderate Colombian twist for a more proper experience. Facilities are general but they don’t cater to the needs of global travelers. Breakfast is a very neighborhood and very restrained choice for vegetarians to have hot food. Nothing like breakfast Potatoes or veggies.
Excellent 10.0
Exceptional was the consideration of the staff. Everything I inquired the Concierge was unraveled instantly, including the one when they given me with a toothbrush and razor kid since I overlooked mine at domestic. Everything was unraveled with extraordinary speed. WiFi is exceptionally quick and with scope in all offices. The buffet breakfast is exceptionally great, shifted and total which is served in a open living room that incorporates a patio. The pool is expansive and permits a long swim, which isn't common in most lodgings. The room exceptionally roomy, comfortable beds and with everything you would like to spend a great remain. There's something they ought to make strides instantly, and it is the Spa benefit.
Excellent 10.0
The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and really cared that we enjoyed our stay. Their attention to detail from organizing our bathroom vanity to turn down service to constantly refilling the lobby's spa water and cookies were great. The hotel is centrally located near the neighborhoods of Parque Lleras and El Poblado. The hotel was safe, with 24-hour security. It was clean and our room had a great view of The Andes. I would recommend staying here for business and pleasure.
Excellent 8.5
We had a comfortable stay. The room was big and spacious. The hotel is located around a 10-minute drive to the main CBD and a taxi won't cost you more than 5 dollars. There were always taxis available. The staff were very friendly and they speak English but of course they relate better to Spanish. The restaurant is amazing with an awesome variety of food. It was delicious and the service was outstanding. I would definitely recommend the Sangria from the bar .The housekeeping needs a bit of improvement but other than that we had no problems.
Excellent 10.0
I stayed here for 10 days as part of an international conference that was being held in the same hotel. I came to know the hotel very well. Overall, it is a lovely hotel, service is superb, my room was large, nice linen and plenty of storage and plugs to use/charge my laptop and phone. The buffet breakfast was amazing - Colombian favorites, lots of fresh fruit, and hot dishes, cheeses and cold meats. Something for everyone. My only complaint is that the housekeeping staff seemed to come to the room more than I am used to and the time between when they knocked and when they actually entered the room was a few seconds. After it happened for 3 consecutive days, I used to put the Come Back Later sign on the door every time I was in the room. Notwithstanding that, the hotel was great, service friendly and impeccable and I do recommend it. It's away from the city center but that's a good thing from my perspective. It meant the hotel was relatively quiet. There's a lovely garden, and big swimming pool.
Excellent 8.5
This hotel is close to the better neighborhood (Poblado) in the city. Nestled on one of the many hills on the road from the airport. The hotel is quite easily accessible but not within walking distance from any of the sights. Taxis are plentiful and cheap. The hotel is well equipped, has a nice outdoor area with pool, tennis, and restaurant; which is visited by wealthy locals during the weekends. Wifi works well and the rooms are well sized. The common area is great and well taken care of. The road in front of the hotel is heavily traveled as it leads out of town and to the airport. Good news is that the hotel grounds do not reflect the heavily traveled road. Breakfast was included in my stay and the buffet was well presented. Service was good. Check out was smooth without any issues.

Cons: The room was dirty
Poor 1.0
Cons: - unfriendly staff - breakfast was terrible - elevator smells badly - bedsheets dirty

Pros: The location was great- close and walking distance to restaurants and bars, but far enough from them to get a good nights sleep with the neighborhood being pretty quiet. Breakfast was Bette than I was expecting considering it was included in the price. The fruit was fresh and delicious, and the staff was friendly.
Cons: The bed was not the most comfortable bed I have slept in, and the shower pooled and almost flooded, but other than that it was a great stay.

Pros: The location was the best part
Cons: Loud, every day mon to monday we did not get one single good night sleep. We were in room 711 and we heard partying until 4 am every day. Though it was not on selena property, would have been good to know before and we would not have stayed there. Service was awful. Elevator mask rules were not enforces even when we asked if they could make a clear sign. People were often smoking by the restaurant and even with staff there people were not told to stop or wait until others were not around. The linens for a queen (maybe king) bed were single sheets... why lol. Will def never stay here again
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: I liked the breakfast.
Cons: It felt dirty. The shared bathroom felt like for prisoners. it didn’t seem to be cleaned regularly and for the price I expected a lot more. The small room was like a prison cell. There was no window. This Selina seems like it’s just cramming people as much as it can into it’s space to get more money from foreigners.
Okay 4.0
Pros: the room was run down and the bed sheets had stains on the them.
Cons: The standard private room was expensive for what you got.
Okay 5.4
Pros: Facilities are cool, there’s a cowork (but you have to pay). There’s a lot of art around the hostel. Staff at reception is nice. When we asked for a change in our disappointing room, they understood and showed us other options (which were worse than what we had), and clearly had experienced this issue with other travelers before.
Cons: I booked this place because I saw a travel vlogger post about it, but he was clearly paid to recommend it, because the Photos look nothing like the real deal. Also, when we arrived we noticed it was cheaper to book in person than by booking.com so you’ll be over charged. (They we’re charging 212.000 cop for a room and we paid aprox 255.000 cop by booking). We booked a standard double room with private bathroom and it was very disappointing. The AC makes so much noise you can’t sleep, the windows are terrible, it’s not clean and the furniture is all wasted and torn. The bathroom was dirty and old. I uploaded photos so please see them because they speak for themselves. Go somewhere else, this place is a waste of money.
Good 7.0
Pros: 1) The location, El Poblado is perfect 2) The staff members, i forgot my laptop on a table in street side of the coffee shop of the Hotel, and they hold for me and returned back to me
Cons: 1) Hot water on bathroom didn't work at check in, I need to call staff to fix it 2) The room has no cooler, you can keep drinks cold in the room 3) The curtains left an opening that faces east
Excellent 10.0
Very tidy, clean and comfortable.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Helpful staff, clean room.
Cons: Had to walk up & down steep hill (or 96 steps) to close food court mini mall. Not close to shopping, other restaurants or tourist attractions. Could hear loud music & talking coming from room next to us late at night.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Value, neighborhood, security, apartment itself, staff
Cons: I stayed in two different apartments.. the second apartment didn’t have any dishes
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Friendly staff, very nice room with an amazing view, and the breakfast was cooked for my specific needs and not a buffet.
Cons: Would have liked a shuttle from and to the airport.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Breakfast was delicious, fruit, eggs, arepa and tinto with orange juice
Cons: no complaints
Excellent 10.0
Cons: Nothing not to like. The host was the best ever. During Covid insanity and being there made things so much better.
Okay 5.0
Pros: I liked the staff, very friendly.
Cons: Property was too far from restaurants or any place of interest and I had to call a cab to go everywhere. Windows are not double pane and the noise of the traffic is very loud starting at 5 AM. No room service, kitchen closes at 10 AM. Missing night shades made my room very bright at sunrise, small toilet, no AC, unconventional cable had very few channels. Cleaning service don't clean your room unless you tell them.
Good 7.1
Pros: Good location. Friendly staff. Very spacious and full equipped. All appliances!
Cons: The bed was a smelly. Too noisy, due to across street construction. Need a taxi for everything!

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Me gusta todo ! the bed is really good! Place good ! Miko good! Hahh
Cons: None
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The private room with its own bathroom is spacious, clean and comfortable. The location is safe and very close to restaurants, shops, etc. yet away from the noise with many trees around. I would definitely come back to stay here again next time when I come to Medellin.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very social hostel. Great staff and a excellent rooftop terrace to relax and hang out on. It's not a party hostel but yet you get to meet and talk to people. I would stay here again but I'm still here as I extended my stay because it's so nice. The WiFi is one of the best of the many hostels where I have stayed The metro station is only an interesting 15 minutes walk away. Close to many restaurants and bars.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: A very cozy place
Mediocre 3.3
Pros: The window view
Cons: I was 3 days at the 'private bathroom, room' and a few things were really really bad: :: The bathroom stinks too much, I mean, a lot :: The person that received me wasn't able to say one nice word. Even a 'welcome', on opposite of all the colombians, that were really amazing :: Two nights of parties at the terrace, the second one until 6:30am, drinks, electronic music, smoke at your door. :: I just meet one person of the hostel, only at the payday. I tried a conversation about the party, but was ignored. Actually still ignored. :: Far to go by foot, high at a climb street but it could be very nice to chill Hope that they take this comment as something positive.

Excellent 9.0
Pros: A very nice and friendly place with beautiful vegetation
Cons: The showers are difficult to use to get the right temperature (or we didn't find out how it works !)
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Great location, delicious breakfast, awesome staff, relaxed atmosphere.
Cons: Shared rooms need improvement to help organize our belongings.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Breakfast is great and different every day. Staff is super friendly and helpful
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great location, great staff , super raccomanded!
Good 7.0
Pros: Good breakfast and nice people working there. Calm and nice areas to hang out.
Cons: Very poor internet and cold showers: not acceptable in such a rich and touristic neighborhood.
Good 7.1
Pros: We had electricity problems in our room, but this was fixed the next day by the very friendly staff! Not noisy at all! A big sound proof door in the allay kept all the noice alway from the street/bar.
Cons: Very tiny wc/showers. Bit outdated. No hand towels included for the private rooms. The room was really tiny with only a window within the building.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The breakfast was really tasty and the social spaces seemed cozy! Loved the greenary at the hostel. It was easy to communicate with the staff through messages. It was a last minute booking for us for a good price.
Cons: We got a room on the first floor and for some reason couldn't use the key to lock the room from the outside. We came in quite late so it wasn't much of a bother as we left quite early in the morning but I'm sure we would mind if we had to stay for longer and couldn't lock our things. Maybe it was just a temporary thing but l still think this needs to be checked with the staff.
