Pros: accomodation: our room (andalucia) was cozy. bathroom was spacious. we loved the porch that opens to a mini rainforest with occassional squirrels and hummingbirds to greet us in the morning. location: the property is close to trendy bars, and restaurants, but far enough to be quiet and secure. reception was very warm and friendly. agnes made sure our needs were met; her "mi casa es tu casa" approach to hospitality is commendable. eric, the nightwatch is very kind and ready to attend to my fresh coffee requests even in the wee hours of the morning. breakfast was good with good quality croissants. their orange juice is fantastic ! the fresh flowers arrangements. this review is by mr. ariel silva (les roches global hospitality education, switzerland)
Cons: the breakfast, although good, got monotonous. they could rotate at least two breakfast sets. if people talk loudly, we could hear their conversations outside in the living area from our room. i must be specific though, that i am NOT speaking about other hotel guests.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Brilliant location, and lovely staff (though breakfast service was very slow). Rooms were beautifully decorated.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: A wonderful oasis to stay at in Medellin! The location is perfect and the host is able to recommend the best restaurants, tours, and places to go. The food and wine is delicious and the garden is sumptuous.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: One of the most charming and enchanting hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Beautifully decorated internally and the garden (with jacuzzi) is wonderful to explore. Breakfast is particularly noteworthy - the fruit, eggs and fresh French pastries are divine. Coffee great too. It’s very well located - a short walk to lots of bars/restaurants in El Poblado. If you’re heading in to the city you probably want to get a cab to the station. Walking takes about 25 mins. Agnes truly is the perfect host - she could not have done more for us and gave great location recommendations. Lastly there’s a restaurant just down the road called OCI - it’s a must - the vegetable curry is life changing.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Such a lovely place to stay! Only a few rooms, great individual service, unique and stylish interior. Cleanest hotel rooms we have ever stayed in. Located next to good restaurants but still quiet - feels like an oasis in the middle of El Poblado. The breakfast area is outstanding. Quality of breakfast was also very good. Nice Jacuzzi in the center of the „jungle garden“. Cristian who works the night shift at the front desk was so attentive and charming and helpful with all of our requests.
Cons: nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: A beautiful interior designed guest house in the chic El Poblano part of Medelli. Agnes and her team pay great attention to detail. The terrace with the views over the tropical garden filled with wonderful wild birds is very special. The hammock was also well used! Patio del Mundo is ideally situated for easy access to the great bars andcrestaurants of El Poblano and yet quiet and secluded for chilling out.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful esthetic with great design. Attentive staff. Lovely breakfast. And jacuzzi was a nice touch.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Beautiful house with a lush garden, very good breakfast and friendly staff

Pros: Great hotel in terms of quietness, views of the city.
Cons: Just a little off hand, and the entrance is not friendly... not even two sign or a gate to a hotel/Guess house. They should change the entrance
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Location and price
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The bathroom was the best iv ever been
Cons: I loved everything!!!
Okay 4.6
Pros: The villa is a beautiful property in peaceful surroundings and a great place to escape from the city.
Cons: The location is too far for the usual domicilio apps to work and very few taxis are willing to come to collect. And since the villa does not provide a dining option and very few options to drink, it makes it very inconvenient to get food and drinks - you have to take a taxi even to go for lunch etc - not great with the frequent rain in Medellin.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The breakfast and food
Cons: Was a little cold but was given a heater
Excellent 10.0
Pros: the breakfast was by far the best in Medellin, the pool was large and excellent, the rooms were done very tastefully, the décor all over is unbeatable, service everywhere was waaaaayy above average(not perfect, but close), and the restaurants were both incredible, from the variety to the actual taste.. I cannot compare this to 5 star hotels in the US( because I never have had the pleasure), but for Medellin, this was the tops.. excellent in almost anyway you can describe....
Cons: if I had to be critical, I would say the shower was very tiny for a classy hotel, and I did not like the awkward entrance..and also entering the pool area is not for anyone clothed.. to get into the pool area, you had to have your dress shoes off, due to a small pooled area designed to rinse your feet when leaving the pool(it does the same when entering)..having an ATM machine on site would have been nice, but nothing to really complain about...BUT, that's all I can say bad about this place, a great first class hotel, very professionally run
Good 7.0
Pros: big hotel with very good restaurants
Cons: the rooms are not updated, the lighting is poor, the A/C is noisy.
Excellent 10.0
Cons: The swimming pool area
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Restaurants, gym and pool excellent. Well appointed, staff great.
Cons: Not walkable
Mediocre 2.5
Pros: overcharged!
Cons: overcharged!
Okay 4.0
Pros: The Italian Restaurant
Cons: I asked for help renting oxígen because the company didn’t rent it to a person that didn’t live in the city. Front desk tried once to call a company and didn’t get a positive response. They said they would continue calling but forgot about it. The beds are uncomfortable to get on due to the hight. A nicer front desk at night moved us to a room for disability and they had to bring an additional lower bed because the bed for disabilities was also uncomfortable due to hight.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Nice hotel, nice swimming pool area and nice restaurants. Rooms were good as well.
Cons: You can hear noises from the neighboring rooms, that kept me up at night .

Pros: Nice place and surroundings Nice staff - great food ( pizzas are very good ) The host Dora suggested us an amazing walk to a waterfall :)
Excellent 8.3
Pros: The staff was amazing, very kind. The nature of the place is very nice and you can feel armony and peace in the environment.
Cons: You can hear the voice of other people and listening to the music if it is louder because the rooms are very close.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location can’t be beaten - quiet and safe area with just a 10 minute walk to the centre of El Poblado. Friendly and helpful staff. Simple but delicious breakfasts. 10/10!
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Rooms and bed are exceptional Really quiet location Breakfast is great
Cons: Absolutely nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Wood and white walls, beautiful and warm combination
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Nice rooms, good shower and comfortable beds. Includes a breakfast and coffee is available too. Close to the nice area for bars and restaurants but a block away so you do not get the noise.
Cons: Doors closed very loudly so you can hear when other guests come and go.
Okay 4.2
Pros: Le lit
Cons: If I could put 0 stars, I would put but I can't ! One of my worst experience travelling in my life: I had to check 3 times the price for getting the right price! The employee added one night on the bill because we were at the reception 5 minutes late (but leaving the room on time!) without saying us anything, just to test if this stealing would pass. Then she added 16 euros on the bill for nothing... I just felt like a cash machine that they want to steal. More : the rooms are louding , and the breakfast is very lower than other hostels in Medellin. Horrible experience and disgusting ! To avoid absolutely !!
Okay 5.0
Cons: Bed was bad and quirky and toiletseat broken. Breakfast okay , but not as expected. Bugs in the bathroom
Good 7.1
Pros: Location was very good, nice quiet residential area with easy walking distance to many restaurants and shops.
Cons: Bathroom was extra small, did not have soap for first two days. Breakfasts could be better with fresher fruit selection.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The staff, grounds made you fell like you were in a tropical garden. This is cottage vibe hotel. It is a boutique hotel and because of the size you will get a chance to engage with other guest if you desire. The staff is very friendly and eager to make sure your stay is pleasant.
Cons: The wifi was a little slow.

I actually have stayed there 3 times and will continue to stay there in the future. I have and will continue to refer people to the hotel. Excellent 9.6
Pros: The suites are the best value for the price in poblado. One of my favourite places to stay in Colombia.
Cons: Internet isn’t the greatest but I didn’t go there for the internet
Excellent 9.6
Pros: This hotel is easy to access by private car or public transportation. It is close enough to walk to restaurants and cafes, and not too far or too steep for a hike to the hip areas just East of Parque LLeras. The rooms are large and comfortable and there is a decent gym (if you aren't exhausted from walking). The new onsite restaurant will be opening, soon.
Cons: We experienced some internet issues for a day or so, but the staff was diligent about getting it repaired and kept us informed about the process. The barrio of El Poblado rises steeply from the river up the mountainside to the east. As a result, areas that would be within walking distance from the hotel are almost inaccessible without taking a taxi.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very quiet and no smoking, people so friendly
Cons: Everything was okay
Okay 5.4
Pros: Clean and good view
Cons: The Administrator who kept giving trouble to the hotel guest, please see photo. He is running a scam by approving female guests go up to the room and calling the police on Foreign citizens to pay what you call a multa. The police came after my guest when to my room and lied that her credentials were false. I had to pay off the police 200,000 colombian pesos in which his staff tells me he keeps half. Next time don’t approve guests who go up to the room in the first place. The regular staff are great the low rating is just for that old man. Furthermore, when my room didn’t get clean for the day and I didn’t get new towels...he told me to wait to the next day! I had to argue with him to get staff to bring towels. 4 other staff members sympathize with me as each tell me how he has made things difficult for them for no reason. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL SOLEY ON THIS OLD MAN.
Good 6.0
Pros: I found the facilites and general upkeep a bit lacking. Normally I wouldn't say a anything about such thing, but for the price I was expecting to see my money's worth in cleanliness and maintenance. The location was top notch, it's on a literal hill, so walking anywhere becomes a hike.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff is incredible and very thoughtful. Our room was clean and the breakfast was amazing. I will stay at Casa Victoria whenever I travel to Medellin. Miller is the best!
Cons: N/A
Excellent 8.8
Pros: This place has big really gorgeous rooms. The staff was nice and the breakfast was really impressive. Breakfast was on of the best parts. Our room was really big its a nice place to stay.
Cons: The beds like many beds in Colombia are slightly hard, not horrible as some but a bit hard.

Pros: It's located down a quite street that's still close to all the action in El Poblado. Got a lovely common area on a large terrace. The staff was super friendly. Great Wifi. Offers everything it promises. All in all great value for money. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Medellin.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Very nice place! I had a big room with private bathroom for a very reasonable price. The staff was friendly and helpful too and I felt comfortable during my 5 weeks stay. Definitely recommandable if you are looking for a hostel that is close to everything in Poblado but still located in a quiet corner and not a party hostel. Super nice especially for longer stays. Patricia, special thanks to you for your kindness :)!
Mediocre 3.3
Pros: The window view
Cons: I was 3 days at the 'private bathroom, room' and a few things were really really bad: :: The bathroom stinks too much, I mean, a lot :: The person that received me wasn't able to say one nice word. Even a 'welcome', on opposite of all the colombians, that were really amazing :: Two nights of parties at the terrace, the second one until 6:30am, drinks, electronic music, smoke at your door. :: I just meet one person of the hostel, only at the payday. I tried a conversation about the party, but was ignored. Actually still ignored. :: Far to go by foot, high at a climb street but it could be very nice to chill Hope that they take this comment as something positive.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Very big beds, friendly staff, they should just get some more bathrooms but for the price it is outstanding
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Superclean and friendly. Nice rooftopterrace with tv.
Cons: The showers are a bit cold but for me that is fine.

Pros: Nice trendy rooms, with a great view over the city, after we got an upgrade. The shower was good and the bathroom looked really nice. It's in the safe part of the town and the security guards actively check of you stay at the hostel. Betty's bowls is around the corner
Cons: At first we got a room without windows, which isn't shown in the pictures. After complaining we got an upgrade to a bigger room. We hoped the hostel would be a great place to meet people, but the bar is usually abandoned and the atmosphere is impersonal. We asked for a taxi to be called, but this couldn't be done, because "the phone didn't work". In the rooms you can hear lots of noise from the street and also from the hallway.
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: Stayed for 4 nights in Medellin, the first two night at the 574 Hotel that was amazing and cheaper than switched to the Selina to live a different atmosphere. I was convinced the Selina would be the good experience... WRONG. The room was big. The localization was good, in the middle of everything, but kind of far of the closest metro station. The common areas have a cool design.
Cons: Deluxe room has nothing "Deluxe" except a lot of space, they say it has AC, there was BUT not properly installed. It's the one that you can switch from one place to another. When I asked, why it wasn't really installed (look at my pictures), they sid not all rooms have permanent AC. The problem is that "temporary" installation defeats the purpose of having an AC since the window had to remain completely open. The pictures are misleading so are the services. They say they have like a laundry service but they have laundry machines, not a regular hotel service. Also, they charge double the price for tours in Guatape or in the city compared to the regular price you can find with touring company. Room: - Is not in good condition. It hasn't been painted in years, the wall, the ceiling is destroyed and dirty. The lamp is all destroyed, the nightstands are in a bad state... The bathroom door doesn't close properly... They are NO curtains in bathrooms and it's a big windows with buildings and street behing it... Privacy is a pretty basic ask to me. (Proof: Pictures) - It is cheap. Mattress is the cheapest you can find, not very comfy. Only 2 only very cheap pillows (the 5$ one at Walmart) There is barely any decorations even though the pictures said otherwise and... the brand too. The broken lamp is also the cheapest lamp you could have found and it doesn't even work. Even breakfast is not included which is insane for the price. - Bad service. I decided to give the benefit of the doubt to the company and the first morning, I went and ask about the main issues in my room to know if it was normal... (no curtains, AC not installed, no handwash soap in the bathroom). The girl at the counter knew nothing and she couldn't care less. She didn't apologize for anything and offered no real solution. She said we would get handsoap (a minimal ask) and we never did.

Cons: The location is good but a bit too touristic, which make prices really high. If you want a more local experience, its a bit far from the metro station Poblado. Check in it's really late, but they storage your luggage.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Organization and cleaningless
Cons: Room bathtoom to small
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Selina hostels are always top notch, and this one was no exception. They have everything you need, including a big kitchen, a small cafe, a bar, a theater, and a fantastic location.
Cons: The kitchen could have been better stocked - there weren't enough bowls or coffee cups, and the pots and pans were pretty cheap and beat up.
Good 6.7
Pros: Beautiful, amazing interior design in the public areas. Large private rooms, very convenient for backpackers. Beautiful bar.
Cons: Our room was not very clean. Hairs on the bed room floor and in the shower, that were clearly not ours. Clipped nails on the floor, chewing gum on the ceiling. We mentioned this at front desk on the morning of our second day. The receptionist showed his concern, but when we came back in the room at the end of the day, nothing had changed. A thorough hovering of the room would have solved a lot.
Good 7.5
Pros: The Price, the location and the color around the property.
Cons: We have an inconvenient at the Airport, reason why we got after midnight to the property and as soon as we arrived, the front desk clerk was kind of indiscreet by saying I know who you are because your are the only one left to check in.

Pros: This is a hotel exactly what we were looking for. Nice crew to help you. The room was complete, clean, spacious, good matrass and a hot and really good shower. Quite neighbourhood, which was good out of the center.
Cons: By taxi 20 minutes to the center. Not that much atmosphere in the standard double room, just business like.
Okay 5.0
Pros: Very nice staff
Cons: In general it’s not the best cost/ value. Small room, tiny bathroom.

Neither the hotel check the card holders name or an employee of the hotel use our credit card. This is iligal, we already contact the authorities Be careful with your belongings and credit card they can still you
Good 6.7
Pros: Nice bright area for breakfast. Good location, close to bars and restaurants but in a quieter part. Friendly staff.
Cons: Front doorbell woke us up 2 nights. Took ages for someone to answer it. Our room was not cleaned during our 3 night stay although one of the staff did give us clean towels and took our rubbish. Noise from the pool heater was very loud most of the day.
Okay 4.6
Pros: Location is fine, some minutes walk away from the restaurant area (though some of the most expensive ones are just next door). Quiet at night. Pool area looked ok. Staff was helpful.
Cons: The place is a typical "once nice, didn't know how to maintain it" place like one can find so many in latin America. Don't believe the photos, must have been made on opening day. Loads of things in the rooms are broken or shabby, like cupboards falling from the walls, windows unable to lock etc. Room was tiny, bed smallish and uncomfortable. Breakfast times are early and short, even on weekends.
Good 7.9
Cons: The rooms were not ready when we arrived at 6PM The safes did bot have batteries There was no milk for cereal at breakfast There was bo cereal at breakfast
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Good location. Very clean
Cons: nothing in particular

Pros: The pool
Cons: It was difficult to get warm water in the shower and showering caused the whole floor in the bathroom to get wet.
