Nära o bra i stan. Bra communication
There is a need to renovate the whole room. Maraming maliliit na ipis lalu na sa banyu
Very friendly staff. Clean. Place is very accessible to stores.
The bed squeaks. The silog meals and food choices are very expensive with average taste. Nothing extraordinary. You can hear loud noise from outside - people talking, doors banging.
The front desk staff, namely Cherrie and particularly Steph, was very helpful. The guards beside them were also very nice and told me how to get around the area. They took good care of my luggage, especially since I didn’t spend the night because I went to be with my cousin’s wife and my niece after they evacuated away from Taal’s eruptions. I only went back to the property the morning before check out.
It’s dated but quite spacious. There’s always room to move about and to place things. Everything worked alright even if the appliance other than the TV were old.
Almost everything was nearly perfect from location to service quality. It is situated strategically near Malate, CCP Complex & Baywalk. The room itself had a homey & cozy feeling as well as a nostalgic feeling of Old Manila in a good way. It was maintained well & the room was very clean from beddings, linen & especially the bathroom although the shower head can do some extensive cleaning. The breakfast was good as the eggs & ham were not too oily and pancakes were fluffy; it may be less than expected for a picky eater though but it satisfies a simple palette. What we liked most about the property is the politeness & courteousness of all the staff from security, reception, housekeeping & restaurant. They also had a cool souvenir shop which offered an extensive array of locally made products. Some may be a bit expensive but mostly are reasonably priced. If you’re looking for that satisfying nostalgic place to stay, this is it.
Though we gave the property an excellent review, there are certain things you need to take note of. Firstly, the placement of the air-conditioning unit is right next to the bed, which may cause a certain degree of discomfort especially if you’re a light sleeper and as for the location, as it is along a busy road, expect some vehicular noise the entire day from sunrise to sunset. Other than these, we no longer had any other issues.
Room space is perfect, water pressure in the shower room is perfect.
The staff in the restaurant was so unfriendly, when I had my complementary breakfast she don't even offer you for a fresh juice or water until you ask. The room facilities was quite old, need to change those furniture in the room.
