Lots of room, very clean, had the best location with many restaurants near buy
Could of done with 2 bathrobes instead of 1
We had issues with the room & also had to have major disruption in our room. A member of staff had to use an angle grinder in our room to open our safe to retrieve our personal possessions & sparks were flying everywhere & frightened our children.
We loved the proximity to China Town and the closeness to the centre of Manchester, restaurants and attractions. The staff at this hotel were excellent, highly trained and very approachable, helpful and friendly in nature. The breakfast was outstanding in quality and freshness. The coffee and tea was of a high standard too.
Even though the room was refurbished it was claustrophobic and a bit dingy with tacky decor. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was hanging out of the ceiling which was concerning. The bed was firm and there was only one pillow that was old and uncomfortable. All the linen was aged and not very soft. The hallways were a bit dark and mismatched in style to the rooms as the timber utilised was dated and in conflict with the rest of the building.
Tidy and clean
A bit expensive priced not including Breakfast price for Breakfast is £10 per head at the hotel but £13:95 at booking .com????
The friendly receptionist on arrival and the foyer with their facilities. The convenience of the place and location. Large TV screen.
The room wasn't ready and the toilet was stinking full of cigarettes. The bedding was rushed and we had to make our beds again. The child bed is so tiny that it is suitable for younger children. The room toilet is so tiny that you can't swing a cat. We felt cramped in the shower room too. Towels were all hard. Remote control too hard to control and the walls so thin that we felt the vibration everytime other doors closed!
