We had just missed a flight. So we chose Melia Barajas for their airport proximity, star rating, and their included shuttle. Everyone was super helpful and welcoming! Everything was clean. The room was fantastic and spacious. The bathroom was well laid out and comfortable. While there are many nearby restaurants, we like to usually try the hotel restaurant once. Pros (+) Good airport transfer, and good breakfast room service. They upgraded my room as well as there was a little wait to check in.
Cons (-) The airport transfer goes through all the terminals so takes a while. They charge extra for breakfast in room.
