The breakfast was good but maybe starting at 6.30am would be better, it was hot so early in the morning when you visit the ancient sites. The location is perfect, close to many of the things I wanted to see. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful especially the receptionists Mustafa and Ahmed Omar
I had a room on the top floor which, because of the summer heat, was very hot until the AC was on and it started to cool down
The constant harassment in the street

The rooftop restaurant was amazing! Strongly recommend take the tour from the hotel! They provide professional guide! Hassan was our professional guide!
Bathroom too small!
Hotel is in an excellent location distance wise, at the East Bank. Luxor Temple and museum are barely 5 and 10min walking respectivelly. Karnak Temple is also 15-20min walking. Their breakfast was great, and the staff was extremely helpful, providing us with breakfast boxes, so that we didn't have to waste time at the hotel, and rather eat it while on our way to the West Bank to see the sights. They also helped us print our boarding passes, and in general were very willing to accommodate every need we had. Room was spacious and clean, and the shower had high water pressure which was amazing.
Wifi is the worst I have ever seen. When connected, its speed isn't the best, with sluggish periods. However, the big issue is actually connecting. The hotel provided us with passwords (different for each person). The automatic client rejected our codes sometimes, not letting our phones connect to the wifi, which was a huge deal, since there were multiple times when we had to wait 20min to 2h to connect. We asked to change codes, but the new ones provided also worked like that. Normally it wouldn't be a big deal, but we didn't have data available in Egypt, so without connecting to the wifi we couldn't plan our visits etc, so it was kind of a huge deal. They should really look into it!
A stay at Nefertiti places you in the heart of Luxor, just a 3-minute walk from Luxor Temple and within a 5-minute drive of Karnak. Featured amenities include limo/town car service, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. For a surcharge, guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle (available 24 hours) and a train station pick-up service.
