Location was great, staff was very good and friendly. The breakfast was a good continental breakfast.
My room, a single, was just big enough for a single bed...basically ½ the size of most hotel rooms. On my 8-day trip in Europe I booked single rooms and in every other hotel my room was normal size with a queen bed but in the Hotel Vauban the room was tiny. Good bathroom, however, modern and clean (but small).
