The property came at a bargain price, and was about average in most respects. It is a moderately aged update of an older property, and much of the decorating was dark and somewhat dingy. It was reasonably clean and comfortable with average space and good beds. Our room was 2nd floor but still very noisy because of the very busy street it is on. Proximity to Churchill Downs was a plus, and this no doubt helps this motel make it. Did not partake of breakfast, but variety seemed good

Need more hot food options for the breakfast. Not enough hot breakfast food available. Also there snack and drink selection is poor.

I was attending an event at the Exposition Center. Very close. Able to walk to a decent restaurant.
Mattress felt old, was firmer on one side than the other. Coffee pot was dirty, I would not drink out of it. Basic breakfast food was cheap and did not look good.
